Lunar eclipse tonight

so, those of you who can see it, will you watch it? i might, but ill have to stay up a little later than usual.
it should be a total eclipse...so it should be purdy.

here are the times and places you can see it:

We're having a storm, so even if I felt like being up at 3am, there's complete cloud cover

I did end up seeing it. unfortunately it was no where near high enough to observe through a telescope.

Pfft... Here we have on every two years since year 2000, so... Two years ago was a total eclipse, two years before that, was a parcial one, two years before, was the Venus transit, and in the year 2002 we had another parcial moon eclipse...

As you can see, cosmic events aren't new around here...

there were 2 partial lunar eclipses in 2009. and there are 2 total ones next year (or maybe its one total and one partial)
