So this is probally for DW to help me with but anyone have some sort of help for noob to start with blender their tutorials are not very clear. and the user interface is horrible!

Go to Sci-fi meshes, then the Tutorial section(i thinks its called the Dojo), then There is a highly detailed Tutorial for Blender Noobs.

Blenders layout pretty much mauled my eyes, you cant find anything plus theres button which dont have anything to inidcate what they do, even when you hover over them.

The G key moves objects. Use right click to select them, not the left click. S scales things if memory serves. All of these are also available if you hit the SPace bar and go through the drop-down menu. Oh and you should be aware of the three axis

Yep, Blender isn't a good program for new people to learn. It's even tricky for experienced people. But if you just attempt simple things, then you'll get by and progressively work up. Maybe in a couple years you'll be modeling/animating semi-complex things

Don't listen to him. I get by fine without mine. Though I don't use Blender much, I've gotten by quite well without my numpad

You will want a mouse though. You can use the track pad, but it's very difficult, mouse is much better

Still, it's not very difficult to find in either version and if he can;t find the main menu, well, then I have no hope for him and won't waste my time trying to help

I can find the menu, the 2.5 it's much easier to use and i've found some basic concepts such as resizing objects and moving them up and down.
