2011 AM Mascot Contest

So every year, the Animation Master community holds a contest to design this year's mascot that goes out on the CDs and other AM related promo content. Anyways, despite the fact I'm going up against heavyweight champion Marcos Rezende, I've decided to enter. My intention is for two robots, one an old retro style (retro is very popular amongst the AM community) and one newer, standing side by side as a sort of representation of where we've come and where we're going. So first up I've begun modeling the retro-bot

So far, retro-bot is super easy Texturing will be fun though

Thats really cool, i would enter but i have no skills whatsoever in graphics, all i can use is Microsoft Paint, and very bad at google sketchup

how badass will the newer robot be?

Well the new robot will be very simply and sleek looking. It's still gotta look kinda friendly though, but it's gonna be black and reflective with glowing lights and things
