world hot dog eating contest

well in new york, the americans beat the world record with 68 hot dogs eaten in 10 minutes. japenese guy came in second with 64 hot dogs.

that is CRAZY.

And i cant eat boiled hot dogs, they're just... all slimy and... ewww... I work at the grill, and putting more hot dogs in the boiling thing is like a nightmare. They're litterally covered in slime.

but whats the point of eating that many hotdogs?Just a monument to the fact you have achieved nothing in your life.

The point is the same as doing other stuff; to land you a spot within the many, pointless, holy pages of the Guiness World Records. I don't think this broke any records, but hey. Same thing.

I hope they had fun lowering Americas standards once again.

i dont know if this lowered the standards, the japanese were crying when we beat them and there was a huge crowd. we can eat more hotdogs than anybody else, thats an accomplishment

i choked on a hot dog 2 years ago, and i had to have surgery. that is why i dont eat hotdogs anymore. how those guys can do that, only they know!

Meh, i wouldnt call it lowering the standard. They think it's fun, and they do it wether everyone else likes it or not.

But the fact America is already mainly known for its huge obeisity problems only gets worse if they have hot dog eating contests.

Seems like you're confusing China (which is doing really well right now) with North Korea (which basically starves all its citizens).

And then makes them fight NATO for no reason.

Hehe, yeah, it's mostly semi normal people that join those competitions. They only join one every couple of years or so, so it doesnt really affect them much.
