It doesn't matter to me. I can speak, act, perform or whatever in front of groups of up to approx 1,000 people (haven't done anything in front of a crowd bigger) yet I'm extremely timid in front of individuals. Maybe it has something to do with the crowd just being this big blob with no real personality or consciousness

I'm an extremely personal kind of person (wow ain't that redundant.) I can basically talk hours on end with complete strangers, but I choke up when speaking in front of a cold, emotionless crowd. Music is different, I got adrenaline when I perform.

Indeed. I dunno, it's just the bigger the crowd, the more comfortable I become, which is odd because other than that, I'm like the perfect description of an introvert as well. But perhaps it's because of my coldness. I mean I don't see the value or need for individuals, ie friends
