Re: Part III
I watched in amazement and saw my hands glowing as well.
"Umhh...What the HELL is going on here?!"

Re: Part III
Doyle looked down at Destral.
"You were able to fly the ship too...of course, we are now the same person! Anything that happens to me, happens to you and vice versa! This crystal must be the key! It must!" Doyle looked back at Haven.
"Hold on....uhhh....." Doyle watched as Haven began to dissolve before their eyes. Haven dissolved into millions of tiny particles.
"I think Haven is...dying....." Doyle stopped as suddenly, all of the articles rushed through the glass. The particles drove into Doyle and Destral as an intense stream of energy.

Re: Part III
Erin placed a hand on the glass, a tear coming out of her eye.. "Be at rest.. We can't destroy the monster yet.... but we will.." She sighed, and turned towards you both, blinking.. "Why are you two staring at me like that?" She stared at them both, confusion evident on her face.

Re: Part III
Doyle grunted
"Well, two reasons, one, that's a confusing statement and two....having a Haven be absorbed into your body makes you feel constipated!"
Doyle fell over clutching his stomach, the glowing all gone

Re: Part III
My head was starting to hurt like hell. First I was glowing, then Haven somehow assimilated himself into me, now I heard Jaq mumble something to Haven. Knowing it was probably nothing good, I kept my mouth shut on the matter, and focused more on what Haven just did to me and Doyle.
Then I remembered I needed my vials to cure my Eralt's Syndrome.
"I have to go get something. Play nice while I'm gone," I said as I remotely steered my Evil Deed into a docking port. I then sprinted for its open hatch to grab my case.

Re: Part III
Doyle watched Destral run off then looked up to Erin.
"So I suppose it's just Bloodcutter left now. Without Haven, we have very few options. i suggest trying to throw it into Umbra's Inferno. It's the most violent force known to us...." Doyle suddenly stopped and looked past Erin.
"Bloodcutter is secure...right?" Doyle asked uneasily. She looked at him peculiarly. Doyle continued to look past Erin. Doyle suddenly looked up
"Destral" he said. He took off running. moments later, there was a massive explosion and the station rocked. Another explosion erupted as a result of the first. Alarms started blaring. Doyle was running as fast as he could. Destral was in trouble...he could sense it!

Re: Part III
i was in the room next to the explosion. it was the room the bloodcutter was in. "ah crap..." i run to find a suit to go and find the bloodcutter but the suits were in the room as well, and the only others are on the other side of the station.

Re: Part III
The explosion knocked me into a flip that landed me on my back. The back of my head hit the metal plating hard, and not even the cloth of my hood could stop me from going unconscious for a few seconds. My life flashed before my eyes...
(It was sunset on Delta Kazoran. The rings of the Earth-similar planet glistened beautifully as the hot blue sun shined on the horizon. Jaquelyn turned to me.
"I need to know something, Jaq."
"What is it, Destral?"
"We've been through a lot together. We've pulled out each other's butts from the fire so many times; I've lost count. And on this journey...since I've met you actually...I haven't felt complete."
"What do you mean?"
"I need you. I need you more than I've ever needed anyone in my entire life. I need you to complete me. I can't stand thinking about a day without you."
"Destral..."
"Let me finish. I love you. I love you a lot. And before we go back into the fight, I need you to promise me something, and to accept something from me."
"Anything."
"All right..." I pulled out a ring with a rare purple gem on it. Jaq gasped in amazement.
"Jaquelyn Shepard...marry me."
She began crying tears of happiness as she nodded, accepting, and embraced me. The sun faded into the horizon, as the rings of Delta Kazoran continued to glisten.)
I woke up with a massive pain in my head. I rubbed it and got up.
("There's always something, isn't there?!") I thought as I picked myself up.

Re: Part III
Erin looked down, an odd memory coming to her... She stared at her finger, never knowing what the ring was for, but she wore it anyway. The station was exploding around her, but she kept walking towards a closed off section of the station, the Draaki telling her only to use it in times of great need. Pieces of debris was flying everywhere, as she watched out of a view port of the Shadow Runner taking off, and the Draaki swarming around it, tearing it to bits in an instant. She stepped on towards a small vessel of Draaki design, a crew of only 10 this time and she looked around. "Make sure Doyle and Destral survive.. we need them whether we like it or not.."

Re: Part III
Doyle skidded to a stop, ducking as shards of metal blasted out of a wall. Destral was on the ground. Doyle ran over to Destral and grabbed his arm. Another explosion erupted close by to them. Doyle looked around and started dragging Destral. Destral was groaning and his head was swaying side to side.
"Come on Destral! We got to get out of here!" Doyle said. The station began to groan and creak as the main sections began tearing off and dissolving in Umbra's Inferno.
"This place ain't gonna hold out for long...." out of the corner of Doyle's eye, he caught a glimpse of a reflection. Bloodcutter was lying on the floor in the room behind Dole. Doyle turned around looking into the room. Somehow it was out of the vault and the case destroyed.
"Oh...no..." Doyle muttered, now realizing the cause of the explosions.
"Come on Destral, snap out of it!" Doyle slapped Destral in the face trying to fully wake him.

Re: Part III
I was awake now, and on my feet.
"Well, wasn't this the perfect time for a pretty explosion to tear us all to pieces?!" I said sarcastically as I got up. The station rumbled beneath our feet.
"Well, so much for curing my Eralt's Syndrome!" I said to Doyle. "Now what?"

Re: Part III
The Carrier was now carring people into the planet-killer... A full analysis from it's database said that it was and end gun... A gun in case everything else failed... It was placed there to prevent an accidental activation by Haven's aproaching... I kept interrogating my prisioner...
"I'm going to transfer you to the carrier..." Said I... "Seeing you're the only civilian in here..."
"That's great..." Said she with sarcasm... "An Adventure in a Carrier as a Prisioner... Great book indeed..."
"Remove the 'as a Prisioner' part..." Said I... "I'm freeing you... Fleet Intelligence hasn't found any conclusive evidence against you... And I don't want to find it..."
She jumped over me and hugged me like if the world was ending...
"Thank you, thank you, thank..."
"Stop it!" Said I, trying to shield myself from emotions... "I guess you better hurry before you loose the shuttle... Your stuff is already packed..."
"Thank you..." Said she, giving me a kiss on a cheek before going away...
I suspired and thought "Thank god she left... It was hard to work with her here..."
I returned to the bridge, and contacted the Carrier...

running for the lifepods the station splits in two, life pods on the other half. with a beaten expression, i repeat a chant from my home planet, and run for the other half, hoping to drift to the other side before i run out of air, or worse...

OOC: Flashgamer... the only people on the station were Erin (Me), Doyle (Darkwing), and Destral (Toa). Try asking DW or Toa to try and help you get into the RP itself, and make sure to try and add detail to your posts, and not broken sentences.

Re: Part III
Doyle skidded into the room, landing on his side and sliding as debris came crashing down blocking the exit. Bloodcutter was emitting some energy that was invisible, but the moment Doyle entered the room, it lit up, streaks of what looked almost like electricity blasting out of it, destroying the station. Bloodcutter seemed to be forming some sort of shield around itself. It was preparing to protect itself from Umbra's Inferno. Doyle glanced around the room. It was in ruins and the metal plates holding the walls were beginning to peel back. This room was soon going to be open to space..as was the whole station. There was only one thing to do.
With the integrity failing and Bloodcutter not quite up to full power yet, Doyle lunged, grabbing the sword. A pulse reverberated through his body as if Bloodcutter was trying to shake Doyle off, but he held on. He brought the sword above his head and took a running leap at the wall.
------------------------
The station finally erupted into a million shards of debris, completely consumed by Umbra's Inferno. There was nothing left of the station.

Re: Part III
I barely scrambled onto the Evil Deed in time to see the station explode. I feared for Jaquelyn.
Then I saw the futuristic capsule Evil Deed fly off into FTL. "Where the hell is that thing going?!" I muttered to myself as I saw my suitcase full of blue liquid in the corner. I put the ship on autopilot, letting it steer itself clear of the Inferno, as I chugged another vial.

Re: Part III
"Prepare to jump into whatever that thing uses for long range travel..." Said I in the intercom to the new captain of the planet-killer...
"Aye, sir..." Said the guy... "By the way, we've detected a large 'ressonantic' explosion in a geografical place called Umbra's Inferno..."
"So, head that way... We will escort you from short range... The Carrier will follow us and give us long range support..." Said I...

"Aye, sir..." Said I Immediatly...
"So, should I?" Asked the Comm Officer...
"Yes, do it..." Said I... "Helm, set course to Umbra's Inferno... We're now back in orders of Fleet Command, so... Use the official procedures, and not the Rebel Inteligence ones..."
"Aye, sir..."
A few minutes later, I felt my cellphone vibrating... I checked... "Not now..." and pressed reject... A hour later, we exited FTL under a turmoil of fire and planetary chunks...
"Anything?" Asked I...
"We're detecting only the fire wall..." Said the Science Officer... "Wait..."
"What?"
"We're detecting debris... it seems to be a station... And I've picked up a ship..."
"Helm, set course, comm, hail them and order them to stop and security, prepare a boarding party..."
"Aye, sir..." all said...

Re: Part III
After chugging the vial and throwing it into the recycler, I took manual control. Stellar debris was headed straight for me, so I took the helm and did some crazy maneuvering to move.
Then I saw one large mass coming towards me. I couldn't dodge this one.
"Time to bring out some firepower..." I said as I pressed a button. Out of the front of the ship came four light-cycle mini laser cannons. I opened fire and shredded the asteroid in front of me to near nothingness.
Then through the debris, I saw a strange frigate.
("What now?!") I thought impatiently.

Re: Part III
"This is the Rebel Frigate 'Light And Spirit', under the command of Commander João Borrego..." Started I... "We are ordering you to dock with our ship... We're here the investigate the disturbances that happened in here a few moments ago..."
Re: Part III
I sighed. I was tired of fighting. I was battle worn. I think I had seen enough action for one day. I didnt even know if Jaquelyn was still alive, and I knew Doyle was spaced. So I gave up.
"Commander João, this is the Evil Deed. I will come quietly and tell you everything I know. But when I dock with your ship, I want answers as to who you are."

He agreed, and I headed down there with a few escorts...

Re: Part III
I acknowledged, and closed the communications channel. I pressed the button on my computer and retracted my light-cycle cannons, but kept my shields up, fearing that stellar debris and ionized gas could float right into my path. Then I put the ship on autopilot, and followed the course provided by the helmsman of the Light and Spirit.
("How the hell do I get into these damned situations anyways...") I thought to myself as the Evil Deed prepared to auto-dock.

"I really hope this guy knows what happened here..." Thought I to myself...
I heard the vacuum clamps close and the door on this side opened...
"Just wait for him..." Said I to the escorts...

Re: Part III
I stepped out, keeping my hood on. I left my pistols behind however. Whether that was the right move or not remained to be seen, though something told me I wasn't going to need them.
At least, not yet.
I looked Commander João in the eye.
"Commander, my name is Destral. My ship just barely escaped from the destruction of a space station within this area. It was completely consumed by the Inferno. There were others on the station...we were trying to stop a creature with vast, unimaginable power. We tricked it into here. Then something happened...I'm not sure what, but the station exploded. Somehow. I wanted to search for survivors, but this area is too dense with debris to get clear readings. Even with my RAD-TEK scanners, I don't think I'd find any human life signs here."
I sighed and looked down, thinking of Jaquelyn.
"I just want to get out of this place...It's been a rough couple of days as it is without a space station blowing up on me."
At least, not yet.

"Hmm... I see..." Said I... "I guess you're talking about Haven, am I right?"
"Yes, how do you..." Asked Destral...
"Fleet Intelligence knows everything that happens in the galaxy..." Said I... "Now, follow me... We will get you a drink..."
And he followed me to my room, were I gave him a cup of 'Moscatel de Setúbal-II', one old Earth Empire Colony, made mainly of Portuguese and Spanish descendancy... After this small chat, I told him my story...

Re: Part III
Erin piloted her ship out of the nebula, heading straight for the Light and Spirit. She didn't open a communication channel or anything, just fired a warning shot with one of the Draaki weapons, a blast of pure energy that flew over the command section. She flew the ship around, searching for the Evil Deed. She opened a communication channel after locating where the ship was, and was grinning when she came on screen. "Captain of the Light and Spirit, this is Haven.. You will hand over Destral, or I will be forced to destroy your vessel and everyone on it. I suggest you comply and forget that you ever came here. It'd be for your own good.."

Re: Part III
I entered in the bridge, followed by Destral...
"What's our status?" Asked I to the tectical...
"I can't recognize the design, sir... But the pulse he fired had a pretty elevated density..." Said the Tac Officer... "We could engadge it and take it out, but this is a too near battle..."
"Destral... What do you want to do..." Turned I to Destral, looking for advice...

"I'll talk with her. Hail that ship."
The pilot nodded and opened a communications channel.
"Jaq! It's Destral! What the hell are you doing?! Cease fire!"

Re: Part III
Erin showed no response to the name Destral had called her. She flew right in front of the ship, her own seeming to phase in and out of reality. "This is not the person you once remembered. I am Haven, and you will get on board my ship. You are one of the key pieces I need to destroy Bloodcutter, and if you do not comply, I will take you by force and destroy that ship. It is no match for my own special design."

Re: Part III
Suddenly, both the Light and Spirit and Erin's ship begin to get pulled in by a massive gravitational force. Both ships engaged their engines, trying to pull out of this unknown force. Umbra's inferno began to collapse, being pulled into the center. The star was still millions of years away from developing, but the gasses of the intense nebula were being compressed and focused. The ships struggled against the force as it got stronger and stronger. Both ships' engines were groaning, unable to take the stress. Umbra's Inferno was finally no more and the deepness of space was visible. A sliver of metal drifted through space. The Light and Spirit and Erin's ship was blasted forward as the gravitational force stopped and sent a shockwave emanating out into the reaches of space.
Both ships drifted, momentarily powerless. The sliver of metal drifted into the burning core of the now compressed Umbra's Inferno. More pieces of metal and debris drifted into the core.
Destral aboard the Light and Spirit stood up, his legs shakey from all the turbulence. He looked around as sparks showered from destroyed consoles. The lights were dim, but the viewscreen was still active. A dark shadow pierced the sky. Destral slowly stepped towards the viewscreen, his heart racing...with fear...pure fear.
As the two ships drifted in the distance, a massive shadow passed over them. Slicing through space, the size of several planets, the shape of a deadly sword, with the newly formed star of Umbra's Inferno at its core.
Destral stood there watching. Suddenly he spun around. Standing there, was a figure clad in a dark robe, a sword at his side. Borrego's men started shooting at the man, but they had no effect. Destral leaned forward, trying to get a view of the man's face
"The time has come upon you for you to all pay the price. The debt of life itself! I AM BLOODCUTTER! I have awaken!"
Destral then caught the face. It was horribly disfigured, mutilated and destroyed, but Destral knew it. It was Doyle. Bloodcutter looked Destral in the eye
"You will all pay"
