Welsh is a celtic language. it does look different. Other celtic languages are Breton (which is supposed to be really similar, but has loads of the letter z) and to a certain extent the gaelic of Irish and Scottish ways.

There used to be Celtic spoken over loads of places, but it's sort of died out. I wonder why.
