Our stats are hurting

Well, i just checked the numbers and it's looking pretty bad. Last year this time we had well over double the amount of new posts and topics then what we have now. but, last year we only had about 8 people register and this year we had about 44.

ok scratch that, last year had almost triple the amount of posts as this year

Then start posting, people! I haven't been very active these last times, but I'm redeeming myself!

To be quite frank, I've got more of a life over here now than I had a year ago, so I have less time to spend here. But I'm still committed to the health of the forum 100%

I may say you why did we had more post back then... remember of the spammer wave that came from VX Flash and Dondon? Remember MNIM? Remember the shemale (11dn11/skampi)? Remember Meganew Trek (the uberer and spammer)... There you are! Those are the reasons...

actually JPB, your timeline is off. 11Dn11 is from 2009 I do believe and yes Meganew and MNIM did contribute quite a bit, but you have to also remember that spam attacks got deleted almost immediately and wouldn't be reflected in those stats

Hm. Well we are a forum without much new inflow of members. And our current members are mainly less active in the summer.

So it's understandable. Don't drink yourself to death.

well, one good thing forumotion has is a half decent bot security system, though it is possible

It's not really bad. Or at least it wont be till we lose a standard member, we're actually a pretty tightly knit community, so we dont need much inflow till we lose someone.

well mod hunting means killing the mods for what i know , and i was also head admin and the same thing happens , but now i hate being admin or mod , is just a waste of time , mods should be used as slaves on my empire .

well I remember someone called galaxy-Scarface saying " I wouldn't mind being a mod, I'd be okay." or words to that effect

what i said was "if i had the chance, i would accept mod but i probably wouldnt accept admin"

Well... I still remembered when I said I didn't wanted to be a mod and now look at this! I'm a mod and I am enjoying this as much as if I was a regular member!

because you essentially are a regular member. we have limited powers now, which i think is good.
