There is only one true religion to everyone, just their idea of a true religion might be different to someone else's, like a Hindu or an aetheist (I know it's not actually a religion)

well, that's quite right, although there are of course people who doubt. but people are almost ALWAYS fully convinced that there is a god, or not. it's just the way how this god should be worshiped that people doubt about in most ways. (which, in some way, describes me too a bit)

and, as for the reason, religion JUST CAN'T BE PROVED. that's because religion = belief. and belief = knowledge. because, knowledge is based on FACTS whereas belief is based on THOUGHTS. but, before anyone wants to prove I'm wrong, THOUGHTS can be based on FACTS. Thomas of Aquino already said, that the proof of god lies in the way things are.

which is exactly proven by a story closely connected to the time of the year: the resurrection of Jesus, and the tale of unbelieving Thomas.

Jesus stood up from the grave, and disciples believed that, because the grave was empty. this was a FACT, on which they based their THOUGHT. however, it could be that someone took Jesus from the grave. they couldn't KNOW that for sure. hover, Thomas didn't believe that Jesus was resurrected. only after the FACT of seeing the wounds of Jesus, he was convinced. however, is that believing?

No. why? because, the FACT was so clear, he KNEW. he didn't believe.

(OMG, did I just quote the bible? that's rare for me.)

the conclusion is, that you should have Faith, but not search for the proof.

Speaking of the dead, what do you guys say about evil spirits/exorcism/etc.? I mean, evil spirits obviously did exist, as Jesus and his disciples DID drive evil spirits out.
