Re: Soundtracks
Riddle of steel is pretty good, but doom riders is easily the best part of the soundtrack.

Re: Soundtracks
What? Really? This year just keeps getting more awesome by the minute! I loved the original Conan. Was kind of spoiled by arnold because of all the silly movies i'd seen him in... Just couldnt keep focused on the whole big warrior of steel thing when i'm thinking about his head getting blown up on total recall... God, that was an abomination of a special effect...
I really hope they keep the soundtrack though, it was great. And here's more of it!

Re: Soundtracks
Skynda långsamt means hurry slowly in swedish. This part is from when the norwegian rangers do the raid on the outskirts of a russian city. Fits in really well with the mood. This game was by the way made by a swedish developer. A really good one too.

Re: Soundtracks
here is one of the coolest themes for a sci-fi TV show ever. This has both the opening and end themes

Re: Soundtracks
This piece is nearly perfect together with the scene, but it's great on it's own too.
If you listen carefully, you'll notice that they also put in a little of baltar's theme around 2:30.

Re: Soundtracks
What's the really awesome symphonic piece used in the season 1 finale where baltar and six are in the opera hall?
Re: Soundtracks
here, this is probably my favourite from the show, just the way it's used it's just amazing:
Re: Soundtracks
Just wait till you get to season 3. The scenes with Battlestar Sonatica are amazing. The music goes perfectly together with the scenes it's used in.
Mild S3 spoilers below

- Spoiler:
A basestar's arms rotating... An exiled baltar sitting on a bed, thinking... It fits in so well.

Re: Soundtracks
Oh, you're going to have to say goodbye to your social life. I watched a couple of episodes at least every day after getting the full series. I'm probably going to watch it a second time when i get a playstation 3 or a blu ray player. I watched it on the laptop the first time, and the laptop's screen is tiny. It's probably going to be a few magnitudes above ''pant wettingly awesome'' on a bigger screen.

Re: Soundtracks
yeah, i heard the BD version is very good. I'm getting the DVD though as I want to be able to take it with me like at work or when I leave for school as the chances of me having a BD player and going through school are pretty much 0

Re: Soundtracks
I remember that one! I was fighting through the Broadcasting room,
- Spoiler:
- right before having to run throught the entire house jusgt to fire a couple of flares to prevent them from destroying it!
Re: Soundtracks
no, i did a long time ago, I'm just very slow to post this stuff, mostly because there's so much good stuff. Honestly, to do POC justice, I'd have to post every track from every OST
Re: Soundtracks
here's the version of POTC that I played in band a few years ago. I might have a recording of me playing in band somewhere, we didn't do so well as these guys, of course we got the piece the day of the concert. This one may be a little longer than the version I played, but it's pretty close
Re: Soundtracks
Beautiful... And so is the rest of the soundtrack, definitely worth checking out.
