The Plot:
Your ship:
As you trade and destroy the enemy you will gain prestige, once you have enough you can change to a better ship, as the Federation is now sure you won't go and get it destroyed. Most of the time they are better. Below are the real size pictures and stats.
Ship: Danube Runabout
Prestige needed: 0- Your starting vessel.
Hull: 50
Shields: 25
Torpedoes: 5
Torpedo Fire Rate: Slow
Phaser Damage: 8
Speed: 4
Energy: 3,000
Rating: Poor
Takes on: Small Cardassian and Small Dominion ships (3 types)
Tactics: Use your torpedoes to damage and then phasers only to finish off ships
Notes: Once you upgrade you cannot switch back into this class.
Ship: Valiant
Prestige needed: 5,000
Hull: 100
Shields: 100
Torpedoes: 0
Torpedo Fire Rate: N/A
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 10
Energy: 5,000
Rating: Above Average
Takes on: Medium Cardassian and Small Dominion ships (4 types)
Tactics: Fire a barrage shot so the ships get destroyed before they can even fire
Notes: Since it’s forward fire beware of coming up behind ships, then firing and passing over them, since then you have to turn around as they fire at you and also beware of energy loss. Same as the Defiant with extra speed but comes with no torpedoes.
Ship: Defiant
Prestige needed: 10,000
Hull: 100
Shields: 100
Torpedoes: 25
Torpedo Fire Rate: Slow
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 7
Energy: 5,000
Rating: Above Average
Takes on: Medium Cardassian and Small Dominion ships (4 types)
Tactics: Fire a barrage shot so the ships get destroyed before they can even fire
Notes: Since it’s forward fire beware of coming up behind ships, then firing and passing over them, since then you have to turn around as they fire at you and also beware of energy loss. Same as the Valiant with loss in speed but comes with torpedoes.
Ship: Nova
Prestige needed: 20,000
Hull: 200
Shields: 200
Torpedoes: 50
Torpedo Fire Rate: Medium
Phaser Damage: 10.5
Speed: 8
Energy: 7,000
Rating: Average
Takes on: Medium Cardassian and Small Dominion ships (4 types)
Tactics: Avoid torpedo fire from enemy ships, alternate 2 phaser shots for 1 torpedo
Notes: It is not as good for taking out the Galor class, use it as a long term small ship destroyer, I would recommend the Defiant or Valiant over this ship.
Ship: Steamrunner
Prestige needed: 40,000
Hull: 200
Shields: 200
Torpedoes: 100
Torpedo Fire Rate: Fast
Phaser Damage: 10
Speed: 5
Energy: 7,000
Rating: Good
Takes on: Heavy Cardassian and Heavy Dominion ships (6 types)
Tactics: Torpedo them under! Use phasers when you run out only to finish a vessel.
Notes: You will lose at least your shields taking on heavy ships.
Ship: Intrepid
Prestige needed: 80,000
Hull: 500
Shields: 500
Torpedoes: 40
Torpedo Fire Rate: Medium
Phaser Damage: 17.5
Speed: 8
Energy: 7,000
Rating: Good
Takes on: Heavy Cardassian and Heavy Dominion ships (6 types)
Tactics: Alternate 1 Phaser shot with 1 Torpedo; faster people use 2 phaser shots
Notes: You will lose most of your shields taking on heavy ships. Take on one and then you should concentrate your efforts on medium ships and small to get the best effect.
Ship: Akira
Prestige needed: 100,000
Hull: 500
Shields: 500
Torpedoes: 100
Torpedo Fire Rate: Fast
Phaser Damage: 15
Speed: 7
Energy: 6,000
Rating: Great
Takes on: All Ships (7 types)
Tactics: Torpedo them under! Use phasers when you run out only to finish a vessel.
Notes: You will be able to knock out anything, however if two heavy ships come at you, you could be in trouble unless you’ve had a good crack at the first one. Also you will need constant refills. The Breen will have a good try at killing you.
Ship: Prometheus
Prestige needed: 200,000
Hull: 750
Shields: 750
Torpedoes: 100
Torpedo Fire Rate: Medium
Phaser Damage: 17.5
Speed: 6
Energy: 8,000
Rating: Great
Takes on: All Ships (7 types)
Tactics: Alternate 2 Phaser shots with 1 Torpedo. Continuous phaser also works.
Notes: You will be able to knock out anything. Three heavy ships at once possible with full health. The Breen will cause a good knock in the shields, possibly finishing them.
Ship: Sovereign
Prestige needed: 500,000
Hull: 1000
Shields: 1000
Torpedoes: 150
Torpedo Fire Rate: Fast
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 5
Energy: 10,000
Rating: Amazing
Takes on: All Ships (7 types)
Tactics: Bury the fleet under torpedo fire then phaser them to the grave.
Notes: You probably won’t get enough prestige for this before you liberate all the systems.
Ship: Galaxy-X
Prestige needed: Special-You must liberate all systems. You’ll get unlimited prestige.
Hull: 9999
Shields: 9999
Torpedoes: 999
Torpedo Fire Rate: Extreme
Phaser Damage: 40
Speed: 10
Energy: 99,999
Rating: Extreme
Takes on: All Ships (7 types)
Tactics: Belt them with torpedoes then blast them with phasers until reset.
Notes: The fleet in the Blender system is 20,000 pt strong, try and fight so you keep resetting your ship every time you kill 20,000 pts worth so you get a fully repaired ship and the 20,000 pt strong fleet back.
The Enemy:
The Dominion, Cardassian and Breen. They will show up red on your radar. Their stats improve with size. Use the real size pictures below to identify your enemy.
Ship: Cardassian Hideki
Hull: 50
Phaser Damage: 15
Speed: 7
Rating: Useless
Ship: Dominion Fighter
Hull: 100

Speed: 6
Rating: Poor
Ship: Cardassian Galor
Hull: 500
Phaser Damage: 15
Speed: 5
Rating: Ok
Ship: Cardassian Keldon
Hull: 1000
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 4
Rating: Good
Ship: Dominion Battleship
Hull: 1000
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 3
Rating: Good
Ship: Breen Warship
Hull: 1500
Phaser Damage: 20
Speed: 3
Rating: Great
Stations:
These will show up as yellow on your radar. A starbase will be built in every sector your return to after liberation. You can dock and repair here. In the Bajora system the starbase is DS9 and there is a shipyard from which you can switch to other ships.
Starbases:
DS9 on the left, generic starbases on the right.
Docking at them will repair and replenish your ship; they also fire torpedoes at passing enemies and are indestructible. Be careful as their torpedoes can damage you too!
Shipyard:
The shipyard is located just north of DS9 in the Bajora sector. DOck here to change ships (you can also changce ship mutiple times, maybe to restock your ship without the prestige loss)

Re: FlashTrek -The Guide
Well, it's an old game. Try broken mirror, it's like flashtrek but a little less repetitive and more entertaining. There's a whole list of cheats in it's subsection

Re: FlashTrek -The Guide
i have played the broken mirror series wich brings up a question i been wondering for a while now
i noticed Broken mirror 2 is incompleate n already work on BM3 is going on
just curious if BM2 was too complex or what not it i find it to be a good game to play even tho i cant get the sov class or the Jem'hadar battle ship even after acwirering (sry for the spellling) the system the ship is in
