Vexiang isn't that bad now. For the moment anyway. It has more people you can have an actual conversation with.

meh, give it enough time and it'll collapse in a firestorm (storm of flamewars). no forum can survive without someone keeping it organized, it's screwed without vex and regular mods/ staff.

Play an FPS, it's a great way to blow off steam if you're angry/frustrated. Try a multiplayer FPS, it's the most fun. like team fortress 2, i've heard it's awesome

Then you're in a desperate need of a new computer, there's alot of games to be played. Trust me, it'll be worth it. Be sure it's got an alright graphics card and not too bad RAM, you know, not an office computer

Check laptops! They're more usefull than Desktops, and do the same stuffs, while you can take them to anywere! Unlike Desktops...
Re: General Discussion
nah, they're extremely weak. get a laptop, it can play more games, a mouse is easier to control than the control surface thing on the laptop and it is alot faster. plus you dont need to recharge it

thingy, i think you meean DESKtops. ya know, towers.Thingy wrote:Then you're in a desperate need of a new computer, there's alot of games to be played. Trust me, it'll be worth it. Be sure it's got an alright graphics card and not too bad RAM, you know, not an office computer
i fear i have to agree with thingy. although laptops are useful and very nifty in transport, they lack power, especially compared to price. I'd seriously consider buying a tower for performance, reliability and price/performance ratio. especially when you're about to go into university or other education after college/high school i would do that, at least in the Netherlands you get government support for buying a laptop when you're a student, so you can easily buy a tower before you go to university and afterwards a laptop, together costing about the same price as you would pay for a good performance tower.
i already just bought a new tower PC and probably will buy a MacBook when i go to university, (if) that means i get government support AND special discount from Apple because i'm a student.
...i'm happy i live in this country. FU, capitalist countries, long live 'socialist' communist europe!

Re: General Discussion
ill start this thread back up again
anyone been paying attention to the weather in the middle of the US? weve been getting pummeled with hailstorms and tornadoes for the past 4 days.
i actually like storms, it was about 1 am and the streets were brightly lit up with lightning non-stop with a wall of rain. plus its been like 70°F the whole time, no more dying in football practice. love it.

Re: General Discussion
You're lucky... it's been gorgeous weather here. Normally that would be good, but considering that i work at the grill in the bath (the swimming hall or whatever you call it), i'll have flocks of hungry people who want hamburgers. It's a pain in the arse, it was chaotic enough today, and there werent even 100 people there! When it's really sunny, there can be around 800-1000 at the same time, and hundreds of them want to eat.

Re: General Discussion
I dont take the orders, i just make the burgers. But when the head chef (if you can call him that..) isnt around, i take the orders and make the food. It might sounds easy, but when you have 10 different orders all with different ingredients and you have to finish it in minutes, it can become pure chaos. Especially if the other assistant isnt around.

I was up in the Little Sahara, jumping sand dunes in a dune buggy.
(The little Sahara is in far northwest Oklahoma)
Didn't see that one coming did you?
But yeah, it was awesome!!!
Kinda like this:
Did you like that?
Now you at least got to see what the Little Sahara desert looks like.
Just a whole bunch of sand dunes.....
BTW, did you know that if I took a 20 minute drive, and someone gave me a pair of binoculars and a tree to hide in, I could be spying on Jessica Alba right now?

Yeah, we're just 3 people who have to feed 300-1000 people. Fun huh? The lines can be 50 people at a time sometimes, and you dont want to know about what we call rush hour. It's freaking carnage. Total carnage.
And man... my feet hurt. I stood up without sitting down even once for 6 hours.
@ ED Ouch... Sucks to be you. In that particular moment, it doesnt suck to be you when you have to shoot people. Or paradrop.

pity, the only numbers that makes sense to me are the percent ones, or have you amreicans got a different system for percentages as well?
Re: General Discussion
lol us americans and our refusal to change to metric system. yes they are in fahrenheit, the top red numbers are the high temperature of the day, and the bottom are the lows.
im not sure but i think the percentages are chance of rain.
