I need music suggestions.
Anybody know of any good rock, alternative bands?
Bands maybe like Foo Fighters, Nickelback, (oh and Terra can help me with this one.) Evanescence.
Maybe even a band like Linkin Park. Any suggestions?
Or any songs. Maybe mellow but meaningful. I like meaningful
music. I like Evanescence's mellow songs, while I like also songs that
get you pumping plus have some meaning. (not too pumping...I don't like
just yelling...thats noise to me.
Also, anybody heard of Breaking Benjamin?
Heard of all those bands...
Linkin Park... search things like "Hands Held High" or "Easier to Run"...
Nickleback... "Gotta Be Somebody", "If today was your last day" and "Feelin' Way too DARN good"...
Breaking Benjamin... "Rain", "Diary Of Jane", "Firefly", "Polyamorous", "Follow", "Away", "Breath" and "Until the End"...
And I don't remember of anuthing...
I was sort of wanting bands that I HAVEN'T posted.
Oh and Within Temptation, her voice is a little too high for my tastes...

Re: General Discussion
First off...Darkjedi, THAT WAS BRILLIANT!!
Second off...the first song that alka showed wasn't to my liking.
Third off... the second song that alka showed, the picture, it was a little bit creepy which made me dislike the song even more than what I already thought of it. (I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it either.)
Alka, just remember I don't like most types of heavy metal.

Re: General Discussion
i was kind of a saying that it's innuendo. it was a rhetorical question. a lot of rock back in the day was innuendo, and i imagine so is a lot of metal (but i don't listen to metal, so i don't know)
Re: General Discussion

What...
WHAT! How could you not like Priest? Heretic! Here's two of their radio classics.
And since you seem to be neutral on Megadeth... 2:37 and onward is the best part, but the whole song is worth listening to

"Destiny is not determined by the people who tell you, but by what you decide on"
Re: General Discussion
lol, i guess so, since christians always follow the christian way, which is not there own, but God's way.

Re: General Discussion
whoa, fellow, you got something completely wrong there, man, you need some real doctrinal teachings if that's your stereotype of us!
Re: General Discussion
hey man! the longer i think about it, the more i learn, YES I AM aware of the fact its completely opposite. but like hunting, the big bleed larger, and are worth more, so for those who are looking for a JUICY, YUMMY, target, they target the mighty..
but of course other target the weak for easy pickings.
BTW my types and thoughts are more FLEXIBLE then that

what im saying is also, that everyone looks at things differently, but to me, i look at all directions, making flexibility even greater.

Re: General Discussion
ahh, dosn't really matter, like i said, everyone looks at things differently, so you can't just say "no your wrong blbalbabla" since it is an outlook at the certain topic...
(oh great this is just like me and phaeton)
BTW flexibility = easier to fool and confuse people

Re: General Discussion
no, I can say you're wrong because you are. if you told me 2+2 + 590247658320 I could say you;re wrong because you are just that, wrong, and such it is with Christianity.
Re: General Discussion
Yeah, and all of his quotes aren't even from the bible.
They're philosophical teachings of man.
I think he's just one of those people that is in love with independent thought; weather it's reasoning makes sense or not.

its not in the bible cause it isnt : and it dosnt have to be, i only started doing this just to do something related to life, that is all...
well DW, yes you can say its wrong but still, like i said, it is an outlook/opinion, which can not be wrong nor correct, you can say its wrong as long as it is a the boundaries of opinion
though wit the bible part ealier i could be wrong but not my point
still, why do you think there is such thing as doubt? re-opening of cases(in court)? rewriting history?
Re: General Discussion
no, it's not an oputlook or opinion, there is a a clear cut right or wrong answer, you chose the wrong one

Re: General Discussion
no not actually just yet, i just need some backup, anyways like i said...
OPINON is a base of finding the right answer, without having multiple opinions, nothing is certain, just like investigations, if you concntrate on one thing, and not on the other, then you might actually be wrong, and since you wouldnt know you're wrong, the damage has been done, also...
You have, say, a sheet of paper. Black one side, white the other.
you hold it, black side facing yourself, white towards the other guy
ask him what colour it is, and he'll say white, no?
but if you're asked, you'd say it's black.
so meaning both people are correct, this also brings another point to opinion

Re: General Discussion
thats the point, opinion is supposed to be flexable, meaning it is aplicable to anyone, depending on how they look at things...
do i have to bring out and OLD post?
