The Azzulians were a violent and merciless race of conquerers. The eventually established complete and total control over the Milky way. After they gloated for a while, civil wars ravaged the once-great empire. In a bid for power, trillions broke off from the empire to begin anew. The newest emperor was a kind person, but he did what had to be done. He ordered his ships to fire at a monstrous asteroid nearby the planet Earth, shattering the asteroid. A huge chunk of it headed straight for the Earth, obliterating all life, including the rebel leaders. After seeing what war had caused to the Milky Way, the decided to change into a Republic, so no one man could destroy all they had created. They travelled into the NGC 4414 Galaxy and conquered a violent race of biological technology using arachnids, and the slaves of the spiders were freed. The people proclaimed the Republic ruler of the Galaxy, and they reside there today, gathering strength for a war to defend themselves from the enemies they no longer had. Warlike people in the Republic are growing restless, and the drums of war sound again.

Ships: The Azzulian ships are immensely powerful. A single super ship could wipe out an entire system. Most Azzulian ships though, are small maneuverable medium ships and fighters. Those are still very powerful, but at a price. Even at the Bleekooruup shipyards, they could only make about 1 ship every two years. Also, there are almost always power struggles in the Republic, so coordinating ships from different families can be difficult. In the Azzulian Royal Fleet, the most powerful fleet in the Republic, there are only ten super ships. In all of the ships in the fleet combined, there are only thirty super ships. About 100 capital ships as well, and a few thousand smaller ships. Each ship has a complement of 6 fighters, and the Capital/super ships have twenty four.

OK, I made some ships. I proclaim myself supreme God of Empire making. I have the most info on my empires! All hail me! I'm not done with the Azzulians yet though, but they're going to have the same type of info as the Stylithians.

And is Zulian supposed to be their god?

Okay, let's look at it from my point of view as a possible enemy:

1: My best ships could annihilate your best ships.

2: The middle-class ships are even.

3: Your fighters are better then mine.

No, you don't get it. This is a time of peace! No rebellions, no campaigns. When war comes, 10% takes start hitting all 3500 of their planets. The factories stop making toothbrushes and start making ships. Individuals are extremely dangerous, live a long time, and hold grudges. It might take a long time to do things, but Azzulia's industrial might outdoes you by hundreds of times. They own a galaxy. Try not to provoke them though, because they don't hesitate to use deadly and immoral weapons. Like fart. All of their planets produce a sizable income, and they can get lots of help from their allies. You don't want Stylithia as your enemy. Also, their planetary defenses are amazing. A long history of civil wars and coups has hardened their species. An attack on even the smallest, weakest planet would prove futile. Unless you had an armada. Or forty. They are pretty weak offensively though, seeing as their ships can only travel a very short distance before losing all energy and being dead in space.

That's good. For me. I'm gonna ask 'em to be my allies if they would.

A little powerful? Why can't anybody make ships more....realistic? I don't know how to put it, but Star Trek ships don't have shields that big...

Nono. I told you that the ships are supah expensive and take a long time to make. I don't know the average stats relative to BM, so sue me.

Nono. They pack tons of technology into their ships. The Azzuls are kinda weird. They mine minerals and build weapons when they are needed, not before hand, e.g. 1 cruiser = 1 cruiser worth of minerals, that's all.
