well, this is the worm that was released months ago ( i think DJ posted that aritcle) and it layed dormant. some people did get it though, here's a follow up aritcle on the non-activation of the program

hmmm. according to a friend of mine who is a big computer nerd for a 12-year-old, he said that the virus was supposed to start april first on ALL computers, but microsoft launched some kind of update ...?

who knows, i heard from some friends of people who were effected by it, and that it did activate on some computers. on the news here they said that it will activate slowly and at random times, most likely on wednesday

sh--! i hope i somehow by miracle didnt get infected by it! but if i did... ill just have to get a mac.

I never would by a apple pc. they are like models. expencive good looking but in the end just not worth it.

they have better performance, and require far less hardware or software to run than windows. now i'm not a gamer, so i don't really care if macs play games or not

I kinda am a gamer. so maybe thats it. also macs tend to break when I use them and they are too small and light for me.

How powerful is your PC then?

mine. its below average but I have a taste for uber computers. I am always thinking about how to spend as little as possible but still reach the top of the line.

The PC im on now is a crappy XP with 512 Ram.
But my other..if it can handle Crysis on high graphics, i think its fairly top of the line.

this one fails at noticeing anything to do with consist internet.

actually this one crashes either when i'm saving, or without warning.

sounds fun. ( fun as in a good excuse to throw a brick at it)

mine only crashes in one situation: Vista skin and using two games at the same time...

EDIT: Or when I force any CS4 program to run quicker, like... my impatient me...

part of it comes to personal preference DJ. I like Mac, I have fond memories of stuff I've done on Macs, I like how they look both physically and virtually. I like their performance like I said, they are terrific multi-tasking computers. Also, this is great, now that I'm enrolled in a university, I can purchase the CS4 suite (if I get a MAc) for only $400! I think I might do that, cause I'd love to have Photoshop and flash and dreamweaver and fireworks and all that cool stuff!
