Although one decision I'm certain Bush made on his own accord that WAS stupid: nominating Cheney as his vice-president... But he was probably being threatened by the NID or something XP

Well, think of it this way.

We all know why the US went to war with Iraq, right?

NOT weapons of mass destruction, but Oil.

Oh, that sounds sooo inhumane, doesn't it?

Americans don't like the idea of going to war with a country with no humanitarian goal.

As most of us know, oil is like the modern gold.

Countries like Iraq have noticed that recently China has the biggest demand for oil, instead of the US.

So, they reason, 'why should we make those nice bargains with the US for oil, if the Americans aren't our biggest customer?

Heck, they're still gonna buy oil even if we raise the prices.'

The oil prices go up, and the US realizes that in order to keep the American way of life (sitting on your bum and doing nothing), they need to go to war with a country with a lot of oil, so that they can regain control of the market.

Iraq seemed like the easiest target, so bushie choose that one to attack.

Actually, right now I even know some guys that are going over to Iraq to pump oil.

But, it's all very hush hush.

Anyways, my point is, even if Obama was in office during the time bush was in office, the US would still probably would have gone to war with Iraq.

The US has to have power over the oil market, or they get flushed down the toilet.

Bush is just the people's favorite person to blame.

If you think about it though, he did do everything in the best interests of the country.

It's just that he's so dumb, he makes the perfect person to make fun of.

LOL!

Heck, he should have his own comedy show.

Note: I do not support president bush in any way at all.

I simply made a somewhat unbiased observation.

Also, America does dabble in other nations affairs a lot.

It's funny, I brought this out to a guy on friday...

There is a statue in front of the U.N building that has Isaiah 2:4 quoted on it.

OK, now imagine you have a gigantic rabies infested dog which thinks you're some kind of snack and you're holding a chain (you're completely useless at fighting by the way). Now you have to get that chain around the dog's neck without the dog biting you a single time. That's pretty much what the UN has to do if they want to keep the US from getting itself into another war. If the US gets pissed off and leaves the UN, the UN will collapse.

Indeed... Truly, Bush's war with Iraq was a pretty good decision. A kinda necessary one, actually, as DJ pointed out.

Still, that isn't anything compared to his obviously stupid actions... Obviously set there by Cheney.
