i don't think vista has bluescreen, rather it just shuts off, or gives you a black screen with some options

All i have ever seen from it is the system configuration menu thing that pops up when you press one of the "F#" keys while its booting up.

i personaqlly have never had the bsod, and i've been on windows 98,2000,xp,vista

I haven't either.
I have seen them, but i cant remember it happening whilst I'm on one

the computers at my school are 98. and they are so f***ed up that you have a bluescreen every 2 seconds. seriously, i started computer class 2 weeks ago, and ive already had SIX BSOD's!

What is the point of the BSOD anyway?
But it doesn't really matter, it serves as a reminder of how crap windows is.

I'VE HAD AT THE VERY LEAST 20 FRICKIN BLUE SCREENS AND A CRITICAL HARDWARE FAILURE THAT KILLED MY SYSTEM! I LOST 500 FRICKIN GIGABTES OF STUFF! 500!!! IN 3 FU**** DAYS!

You poor people. I have never had one, as far as I can remember.

But to be honest, I have seen that Ubuntu is better in performance, but until the apps side of things are increased, most people will prefer Windows for its compatibility

yeah, that's the only reason i use that piece of cra*. I'd get a mac if it wasnt for the compatability problems and that it only runs like 2 games. Pong and, if you're lucky, pac man

Yet another poor area where windows has consumed and converted the citizens... There will be no safe haven for windows haters if this keeps up.

You know... a lot of people here knows linux, but... Most of them the only thing who can do on a pc is power it up, so...

My school bought these expensive 64-bit computers. Blew the budget to bits. Just to install XP with Windows 98 theme. They haven't even updated to IE7.

Most schools won't buy Mac systems because they're so different to Windows, and everyone uses Windows. Makes sense really.

Yes, but I still don't see why everyone likes windows. Because Microsoft made them? Do you like windows, or is it just Vista that you hate.

I don't have anything personal against Windows. Microsoft is a company. Taking over the market is their job. Although it is a bit frustrating when they make something like Vista, which is so crap it makes most people go out and buy a new (microsoft-endorsing) computer to get it to run quick enough.

Mine can actually run vista well.Unless it fails.Again.

It only fails when something really is wrong, like a virsu or i did something i shouldnt.
But if it can handle Crysis at full graphics, it can handle vista.
