He is technically not part of the Earth's military, he just hangs around. He has a ship, the Valence , and a base on a Dyson Sphere. (you can introduce me by picking me up off the side of the rode injured)

He actually won't be that helpful. He will let humans do things themselves. He will call that his 'Test of Humanity".

An example of this is: if you were locked in a jail cell, he wouldn't blast you out. He would let you get yourself out. He is helpful with languages.

So... a divine being? Still sounds slightly uber. A celestial being who tests entire species sounds super powerful. I won't be judgmental, but I'd rather you be a human or some other normal alien. "A being of unbelievable powers"? Really? Have you noticed, in nearly everything the mortals own the "Higher" things? I guess is you are approved by the admins, it's OK, but if you're going to be playing through your minions, I think it's good. Unless you use your supah powers to your selfish purposes. Like an unmentioned person named megane- oops. Never mind.

He is a human. Similar to a Jedi. He is mostly hiding from people who what to kill him and steel the technology he has to control the universe. So he has to keep a low profile. And the test part is like the Asgard in Stargate.

So you just said that he... controls the universe? Wow... Maybe not as much uber as owning the RP? But anyways, the Asgard wanted to pass it on to others once they die away, but from what you've said so far, he could be immortal because he controls the universe with his powers! Heck, ho doesn't even need to hide than. He could probably wipe out a fleet of hive ships from what I've learned...

He doesn't, he is trying to stop that. His race has a non interference policy. He has a long life and regenerative powers, but he will die. His race is from a planed where one day is about one earth month. He wants to know if humans can handle power responsibly without destroying themselves; If so, he will give them his tecnolagy.

He's like the doctor (Doctor Who) with Jedi powers.

That could work. They wont have his powers. They might act as spies.

In the backstorey, of the Enish, there was civil war because of that directive. The Na Enisha (the ones my charter fights agenst) thought helping the universe would be more efficient if they took it over(kind of like in Lord of the Rings). The Enish resisted that change, and things got violent. The Na Enisha, who could take over planets, quickly overwhelmed the Enish with numbers.

the first sentence made me very suspicious, but after reading on it sounds EXACTLY like an ascended ancient.

make the Enish the (ascended) ancients, and the Na Enisha the Ori, and you totally fit in with the SG universe if you drop the dyson sphere.
