That's nothing compared to cairo, most egyptians live there and most of them have cars. Put that together with the tiny roads, screwed up traffic lights and very little control over the traffic= DEATH. I mean, have you tried to go over a road there? there's no one and nothing making sure you're ok like here, the cars are friggin crazy and there's lots of them. Now that plus that most of the people you meet while in the bazaar and things like that want to pick your pocket and you've got yourself a hell on earth, or for tourists at least.

Didn't find the roads too bad. Most people couldn't afford one. But I suppose I was out in the rural areas most of the time. As for pickpockets, our group was followed by a horde of children most of the time. No subtlety at all.
