Runescape under new leadership, will it stop sucking?

I often check the runescape website for some reason, i dont know why but i've been doing it since i stopped playing it and i came across this article: http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=1648

They got a new CEO and he seems to be pretty nice, he seems to be changing the aimed age group (i'm not sure if that's what it's called but what i meant is that he's trying to bring in more adults to the game by changing the chat filter and adding new content). As everyone who has played it knows, the last CEO screwed it up so bad that it became a kid only zone, most likely because he made every adult part of it all fairy talish and gay kiddish. This new guy might actually restore this classic game

Ah, it still sucks no matter who is running it. The graphic quality is bad, the characters run like forrest gump, and most of the updates are for members. Until they release new quests and armours for non-members, you won't see me playing it any time soon. I'm with AQW all the way.

But that might change with RS too, most of those members are kids and when you've got lots of adult stuff, their parents are probably going to drag them away and they'll end up on city of heroes or world of warcraft or something like that

Meh. You'll never see me on a MMORPG like those. Too much addiction.

I do have to say that RuneScape is awsome... I do have an acc for it, Username is Slate521, but the reason is that we can't buy houses. A member can, and Dragon armor is members only. and pickpocketing (kids, don't get any ideas...)

I played it for a couple of months a year or so ago, the houses were pretty fun but it still sucked pretty badly,the humor's aimed at kids and, well, everything else is aimed at kids too.

Exactly, i kept playing it for a pretty long time but it kind of got boring after a while, all you could do was go up in level and no a quest or two

Runescape sucks, we all know that. I gave away an account that I had, and took it from someone else and got to play a year with membership xD but RS can't compare to any other game out there, and badly made flash games are better.

I agree I played rune scape for like 15seconds then got bored.

Played for a month... on 2005... My pc had 512 mb RAM and the same grafic card... at the second week of game, my pc started crashing (I remember I used IE because I didin't knew of FF)...

runescape is to server demanding it lags real badly and the hd worlds still suck an fullscreen is members only

no matter what they do, i havent played runescape, and judging by this i really dont want to.
