Rules, Uploading and Embedding
Ok, so it has come to my attention that I have to in fact make rules for this section, so, here goes:
1.) No porn, nudity, semi-nudity etc. Keep it G-PG. (Those are canadian ratings BTW)
2.)No vulgar language (No F's, S's mainly, I understand some mild language might appear like DARN or hell or stuff like that
3.) Nothing portraying racism, bigotry etc, unless it's trying to get rid of racism by showing what it does to people
4.) No graphic imagery, meaning no guts, not tonnes of blood, no decapitations i think you get the point (edit for Terra's sake: There can be some blood, just not lots of gushy blood)
5.) Don't post illegal stuff either, like pirated stuff
Well, I think that's it for now. In general, if I had kids, would you show it to them. Use your own judgement, and if you can't, my mods will, and if they can't, my admins will, and if they can't, i will, and then I'll be angry, because then i'll have had to waste time watching stuff and screening, and I might have a tendency to throw things at people.

PUBLIC LITERATURE
Don't get disappointed:
If you post your life's work here, a veritable Tolstoy of a novel, don't be saddened by lack of replies. Most people will read your stuff, but many may not think it neccessary to reply if others have already expressed their feeling.
No plagiarism:
Please don't copy others' work. This only deprives your abilities a chance to be shown, and we may well notice.
No graphic violence:
The remit of this forum is for the content to be fairly clean, good enough for the most paranoiac mother to stand. Please don't put anything vulgar in your work, or we may have to censor the article, or its author-you.

Uploading Pics
Darkwing wrote:First of all, they need to be on the web. For example: www.examplesite.com/imagename.jpg
If it's on your computer, find a file host like freewebs.com or photobucket and follow their upload procedure.
Once on the web, open up a new post and paste the url like i did above. Next, highlight it and click on the button called image. If that doesn't work, post the url, highlight it and click Link. That will make a link to the image. Have any questions, let me know.
