Yeah... plot holes, unexplained ubering, walking plot devices like... -shudder- Seven of Nine. I mean, at least Star Wars is consistent...if all else fails, then at least there is consistency in Star Wars.

hmmm 6 movies compared to a ton of TV episodes. I think Star Trek is harder to keep everything in place, especially since the creator is dead.

The real question to me is, will they ever stop making Star Trek TV series? so they quit messing up all the facts lol!

Umm... no... ENT was only good from the Xindi arc onwards... In other words, the latter half of the 3rd season and the whole 4th season were good. ENT also has inconsistencies, though.

Well, I think we've butchered ST enough. Let's look at some plot holes in Star Wars... I know of two in Return of the Jedi.

1. An Imperial walker commandeered by a Wookie and two Ewoks basically decimate Imperial forces on Endor.

2. An A-Wing, a ship that has little shielding, gets through at least 2km of turbolaser batteries and gets shot up tried to kamikaze the Executor's bridge.

Much issues, yes. But I really only like episodes 3~6. Revenge of the Sith was, in my opinion, the only good part of the newer trilogy.

Yes! In episode 2, he was a sissy! The best parts of 2 were:
1. The huge, massive arena battle
2. Yoda v.s. Dukey (Dukoo)
3. The speeder chase

I agree. He's such a whiner! But, I think that Darth Vader isn't so bad. My favorite character is Obi Wan. He's cool. And in Star Trek, my favorite character would have to be Data.

Anyways, I think I can make this assumption without too much disagreement.

Star Wars beats out Star Trek in terms of technology and plot consistency by a long run. Star Trek captains could destroy Star Wars in terms of tactics and the like, but then again, anyone with experience could because Star Wars ships are crewed by idiots. Star Wars' strength lies within their vastly superior technology and Star Trek's strength lies in their ability to defy plot and the capability of their commanders.
