...The Borg can't adapt to lightsabers, now can they? Even if you only had two Jedi padawans, they could kill off every single Borg on board a cube in less than two hours. Plus, you can't just magically gain Force powers. You have to be born with them.

EDIT- However, if we're just talking about technology, ST would still lose.

Need proof?

Anyways, propulsion... Star Wars hyperdrive systems can enable ships to traverse entire galaxies in a matter of seconds. The best propulsion systems that we see in Star Trek are the Borg, but they have to use a large hub that isn't even 1/10 as good as the Star Wars propulsion systems.

As for communication, well... You can find that out in the two links that I've posted.

So anyways, final chart...

Weaponry- Star Wars wins
Shielding- Star Wars wins
Propulsion- Star Wars wins
Comm systems- Star Wars wins
Most plot devices- Star Trek
Most inconsistencies- Star Trek
Longest running- Star Trek (duh.)

Beacause star wars would almost certainly be Empire as apart from the ventilation tube or whatever it was on the death star, nothing would be left of the rebels-and the rebels wouldn't be able to defeat even the Lysians.
Star trek probably means Borg as they are the only ones that have enough unique technology to offbalance the Empire, but my Star trek knowledge is dodgy.

Technically, the Reman Warbird's cloak is so advanced that the Reman Warbird CAN fire disruptors and torpedoes while cloaked. The main thaleron cannon, however, is a different story. There's only one Reman Warbird anyways and, guess what, it was destroyed by a completely inferior ship- the Sovereign-class battlecruiser. Trek is filled with inconsistencies and plot holes. Star Wars has uber ships of all kinds and therefore doesn't need to be inconsistent. Oh, and also, everything in Star Wars has happened "A long time ago."

Kirk is better. But anyways, we're talking about the better side of Star Trek. Captains like Archer, Picard, or Kirk are basically the best Star Trek has to offer. Star Wars is just a bunch of uber technology that would knock all the races in Star Trek out of existence in a matter of days, considering the fact that it happened "a long time ago."

And Jtull, I didn't notice your transwarp post, but again, everything in Star Wars happened a long time ago. Plus, we only know that Starfleet, Borg, and the Voth has transwarp. Anything that has a hyperdrive in Star Wars has that galaxy-crossing capability.

Incorrect. It still took Voyager a few minutes to cross about 1/5 of a galaxy using the Borg transwarp hub. And please don't reference Threshold, that was the most idiotic episode of the entire Voyager series. That episode makes you think if the writers were thinking at all.
