Long Role Playing Games

OK, this time, let's do things right! How many people would play in a long Rp, if the story was right. And if so, what are some suggestions for storylines

i would play and have any off you ever played eve as we could base the storyline around that

i wonder how well a star wars rp would go over

post emp or pre emp

well, either during, or post. i'm not realy a fan of pre empire

i dunno i liked the republic ok so after the second death star and me id be a bounty hunter like kyle katran

if we start another, we should do something about gloryhoggers instead of just warning them.

yea thats why i quit them saying things like im in a xwing by myself i take out 57 fleets of star destroyers

well, i had banned the one we speak of from the new order rp

yea if that minime starts gloryhogging im quiting and im working in a playgroup for my workexperience so i can train my new minions

he does do the most glory hogging and he cant deny it.

he's already received a few, and not just by me! anyways, any cool storyline ideas or anything?

A half life 2 one might work.look it up on wikipedia, the story is too long to post.ok, no it isnt i just cant be bothered.

something semi-orginal would be nice

what do you mean by "Semi origional"?

well, something that wasn't completely created by somebody else, for instance, Half Life 2, somebody already did it

hmm...dont know then.its just that half life 2 has a very large storyline and is well put together.

i see. i don't play many games, so i don't know what it is. Another thing we tend to overlook is our character development. There's no secrets, and those that do have secrets, are odd ones like, suddenyl, I can repel bullets with my mind!

or in meganews case: i can do anything.

but we could use in game characters or make them up.

how about a zombie game and then the characters can develop lets say you get bitten and infected you mutate into a zombie or if you find a weapon you get a psecial ability

nah, too blunt, and too much oportunity for super humanism

it's got to be something that a vast majority will want to play

im ut of idea's

ok, mine has the problem that over 4 billion people are dead, but has the opportnity for many battles and such.

yea i do have one i have to set my mind if im to concentrate but i just managed to read it with out reading about my xbox again

perhaps ED, with your deja vu, it's becasue you're on the forum so much, that when you are on the forum, you have the feeling that you've been here and done it before (becasue you have!)

i say it should be a game were we have to contain a virus in a city or summing like that

the urgensy factor is a good element to have. it builds tension

Why not a mixture of Sci-fi instead of generics? Then people could be any race/alien/whatever they wanted to be.

ok now that i have thought about it it woudnlt be bad but what would we do?

The fight between a colony of termites against a colony of ants for survival

surprisingly we should make that it sounds good and we could have upgrdes like super ants defenses and stuff

Strength of the mud mound, yes, number of hatchlings etc.
