Why must I have Ideas???? Empty Why must I have Ideas????

So, BM3 is in a really awkward state right now. It's close to completion, just with a lot of bugs, but the version with no bugs only has a few sprites, essentially like I was at ground zero. I'm wondering, seeing as I seem to have gone nowhere with this game, of trying to redesign the whole thing, possibly from scratch, that means a new engine (as to what style, I have no idea) but on a graphics note, I have been super inspired by the new trek film, and its shininess, and I would almost like BM3 to reflect this very sleek and modern style.

Maybe you should update the almost completed one with the new styles of the one that would take you back to square one. It might take a bit longer, but you will get that sense of accomplishment for getting it done. Razz Sorry if I am confusing you.

Well, how are you going to get new sprites in the same style as Raffitz's without Raffitz himself? Maybe Darkjedi could do some of it, but I dunno XD

Go ahead and try rebuilding the engine, but instead of starting from scratch, check the basics of the Broken Mirror I engine, use that, and then morph your new features around that! You could make it so that the game can actually handle everything you put in it with little bugs, and have it adapt to the added features (like planet defenses and portable fleet management!)

However it turns out, I look forward to it DW! I'm sure you'll make it fun and engaging either way Basketball

I actually do have some hand drawn ideas that I could turn into sprites.....

They aren't earth empire looking though.
