Ah, good old Texas. Hopefully they don't execute until they finally prove WITHOUT A DOUBT that the suspect is guilty. There can be no turning back from death. But hey, I would enforce the death penalty in my own country XD Scares the criminals enough to shut them up. Or go to other countries and conduct their business there X3 And my CSI department would be VERY thorough.

It may sound almost mean and maybe even embarassing (though it shouldn't be, considering my police officers would be all androids), but I would make it so that once you're a suspect, the have a warrant to search through most anything in your house. If they're androids, well, they won't abuse that power. They'll be programmed to go for what matters in the investigation. And once you're a criminal, you lose all rights. If you murdered, raped, or did some other extremely heinous crime, I'd have them on the electric chair for a long and painful death (well, depending on how much pain they brought their victims, of course).
