Google's new browser
Hey, Google launched a new browser recently! Actually, I'm using it right now to post this message...
It uses tab technology (If it didn't, it wouldn't have ant future...), the interface is very user-friendly and very compact! It uses about half the space the firefox's menu uses and it does not have a white bar in the lower part of the screen...
I just intalled it after my computer recovered from another relapse (now I'll need to re-install most of the programs...)... Since my dad didn't re-install the OS nor "repair" it using the automated repair tool... As I had told you, i had installed a copy of my OS in another partition... This time, the problem wasn't related with the RAM (Oh, I didn't tell you... We came to find the problem wasn't from the module, it was from the ram socket... I changed the 256MB RAM module for the 1024 one and it's working perfectly...)... This time, it was some kind ofvirus that deleted/modified some system files... But the OS from the other partition was fine, so we exchanged some files, and the registry is still unaltered... I had to create new user accounts, but that's nothing.... I copied the Documents and settings subfolder of my previous user account and placed it over he new one...
But returning on topic, you should really try this thing... It's amazing... Oh, I gave you all it's qualities, but I missed one... It's design is very nice and clean and simple... And it has an ortographic corrector...

Re: Google's new browser
I had seen this on Digg, but I had my doubts. I'm going to try it out though.
I'll probably post my review soon!
Firefox will still have the advantage.
1. Firefox is the most secure
2. It's foxy. (fast)
3. The addons are superb. (That the biggest importance.)

Re: Google's new browser
Yes... Although i don't doubt Google will add some kind of add-on function somewhen(I know that word doesn't exit, but I like it...)... After all, they have add-ons for almost anything made by them...
Re: Google's new browser
Someone will probably end up creating a theme for firefox that simulates the google chrome environment.

Re: Google's new browser
Why should that matter? If they were American, I would still want to destroy them. I mean, want them to be destroyed by someone.

Re: Google's new browser
They are related subjects. They're both browsers.
Oh, and Google is going to start creating addons for Chrome now.
(Oh yeah, Google Chrome isn't a very exciting name.)

Re: Google's new browser
I don't know, but they will patch it eventually. Google isn't full of stupid people, they'll fix it.
Re: Google's new browser
I just hate stupid people. Once they create a security patch for Google Chrome, I will test it out.
