Just follow these steps and in the end your Firefox browser will act like a fox!

Type about:config in the address bar, then look for the following entries, and make the corresponding changes.

1. network.http.max-connections-per-server =32
2. network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy =16
3. network.http.max-connections = 64
4. network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = 10
5. network.http.pipelining = true
6. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200
7. network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0
8. network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
9. network.http.proxy.version = 1.0

Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New- Integer. Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

Note: Some of the stuff is the same as in the original tutorial.

Laughing @ ED.

Darkwing, well it works for some sites, but Flashtrek.tk actually gets LOTS slower because of it! I suspected it earlier already, but now I know for sure! Mad

Of course it's going to be slower! You're going through 2 servers, not just one when you use the flashtrek.tk address.

Note: Why did you bring it to Darkwing's attention? I created the flashtrek.tk address.

What are you saying? Are you saying that I am an idiot, and the forum's connectivity is better when you use the .tk server? (I'm not taking it personally.)

Oh, then you might try changing the value in step 6 to 20, or something. (That might work.)

Also, it could be because you have overloaded on cookies, temporary files, and other junk. If you have, delete them.

I don't delete the cookies (much because they have passwords which I forgot). Also, only now I noticed that in some sites, it ends loading the website, but he thinks that the website isn't loaded yet! WTH is that?

Firefox does that anyways. See, it starts downloading links before you click on them. This is one of the key reasons why it's faster than most browsers.
