Star wars galaxies review Empty Star wars galaxies review

Back in the late 1990's, george lucas figured out he'd soon run out of money, and with it, his steady supply of hookers and dumpsters. He obviously couldnt do much more with the three first good movies, since he's alredy milked them into a fine colorful paste. So what does he do? Well, he makes something new to milk, or rather, 3 new things to milk. He gets a shi*load of GCI animators, some hobos with deformed throats for voice actors and a team of 12 year olds with severe ADHD that he puts in a room with a bunch of star wars comic books, the 3 first movies, a huge stack of paper, a supply of pens and no medication. Obviously, you'd think this would be a total flopp.

But you're wrong... Oh so wrong, the first movie completely CRUSHES the box office records and secures his supply of disposable hookers for years to come, and so he realises another thing, anything with the words STAR WARS on it will sell, he could just put together some pure poop, really anything, put some blasters in it, a spaceship or two and some explosions, paste a big STAR WARS all over it and sell it for mountains of cash. It is now named the ''star wars formula''.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm going to be honest with you, i actually thought this would be a pure example of the star wars formula. Just take the leading MMORPG of that time, paste star wars all over it and ship it off. And i was right... In a positive way.

At the surface, it looks pretty typical for MMORPG's. There are quests, monsters, mounts, and equipment. You get the equipment, wear it, and kill a bunch of monsters to finish a generic ''kill x amount of things'' quest. And it continues like that for a while on tansarii point station, then, you talk to the pilot trainer who gives you a ship and a patrol mission so you can learn the basics of flying.

You expect this to be like on the ground, you click somewhere, go there, keep clicking an enemy till he dies and so on. But man... You couldnt be more wrong. And you couldnt be more either.

i think thats the game my friend used to play. he says theres going to be a new one.

he said when it first came out, it was awesome. jedis were super powerful and only 1 in about 1000 people could become one, out of luck. then they added all these gay updates and now everyone could be a jedi, they toned down the power of the class.

other than that he said it was still really good

I'm making a new review, as the diary has been screwed up. I've got a new trial account, and have 6 days left on it.

i was flying a faction ship and went inactive for a week, so they took away my right to fly it. last time it was much worse, that was when the pirates trapped me and held me for a ransom! (luckily my faction payed it) anyway, i should be out now.
