How do you want the story to look like? Do you want it to be an all dark story to be picked up by BM4? Or very dark and hopeless in the beginning, but with a light of hope being lit after a couple of missions? Or do you have any better ideas? DONT forget to comment! I will only count votes with comments.

You can also make suggestions on how to improve the story and discuss the story here.

hmm, i think it should be dark in the beginning, and have it get brighter and brighter. also, i would be willing to help if you need it.

...just be glad MNIM isnt here to see that. anyway, do you really want it completely dark? it we do need an end result where the feds win, i do believe.(as youre playing as one in the campaign)

@ GS Yeah, that's what i thought. Although making it dark and with an unfinished ending is kind of tempting. I think BM4 could pick it up and finish it with a golden age or something, but i'm not sure if it'll even be released, and even if it is released it wont be for a looong time. And you're welcome to help, we can talk about it in PM's or chat.

well, i would probably be more or less a person that just suggests ideas for the storyline. e.g. klingons take planet X from humans, battle where humans end up winning but destroy the planet. but i may help with the actual story at some point.

you're both right and wrong, i'll be taking elements from it that i like, they may not even be plot points or missions, but could be even styles that are evident in the writing.

humanity is crushed, only a few remain and they lose more and more of their ships till the only thing that reminds of humanity is a couple of ships and a few humans scattered around the galaxy, most of them hiding on uninhabited planets. Your game could pick up from there and brighten it up.

how about attacking the cardasian and kligonian shipyards before the war begins , this will prevent the empire from fall , and maybe warp throu time again , and stop the vulcan cultural reform

i think it timewarps to the very beginning of the war, but i cant be certain.

well maybe some clocked flight near there shipyard and plant some bombs , but before this you should need to hunt escort to romulus a vulcan traitor . so that the romulans would give you the clocking device

It should be something like this: start with act of desparation -> gain some form of advantage (i.e. new technology, weapon, salvage very powerful ship, cripple enemy) -> attempt to utilize advantage (defend position while ships are re-equipped with new weapon or technology, attempt to modernize or repair ship maybe seach for parts, try to take over crippled planet/ empire) -> take position as a major power (if not dominant force)

what position? gaining a ship isnt destroying an empire. and there will be a lot of travelling around, no doubt about that.

If you ask me, it should start in the 26th centuary(i think, were ever the player comes from)and be driven to Vex,(it would say in the mission text, "mission 1 find a save haven"then it would be like, go to vex noone is there, make a final stand at vex, you get there, and there are 3 other human vessles there,vessles from other centuries apper and you time warp, back to the begining of the war, all of the other vessles dissapear and you are alone, in vex, with a crew and a ship, hevaly damaged. Then the next mission.
