I’m still not sure 
During the day the connection has been fine but after 6 it goes wacky. Then in the morning it’s fine.
It’s been doing that for the past month or so.
Then for the past few days it’s been off during the day as well. So I shut it down for a day and now it’s back to normal.

someone's probably wifihacking you. try changing the code. make sure you have WPA

Wifi sucks for security.
I will NEVER have a wifi connected to my home computer.
Like me naam said, change your password.
But, it's only a matter of time before someone breaks it again.
So... kill neighbors!!! (Or, the little nerd people that are wardriving in your hood)
(Send me coordinates for the missile attack.)
Or... your isp could just be acting gay.

yes, that could be the problem too. in that case i'd advise sending a letter to the ISP threatening to sue them because they aren't able to provide the speeds they promise.
