See, with missiles, you have to wait for the missile to get to it's target, and you face the risk of it getting shot down.

But, if you have a laser, you have the speed of light at your fingertips.

You can't shoot down a laser. LOL!

It says in the article that apparently painting it white or with something reflective has no affect. Whether it is bull or not I'll leave you to think about.

Now really: That show the how tecnologicaly advanced we're, so, I think that the aliens will invade us in 2012 or later (when they knew that we have one of those). But we're ready to meet them! (We have our own laser weapon!)
