Do you want a basic sci-fi rpg or not?

thinking of making one?

well, i want to know what people think, if it should be trek based, or completely different.

i dont know..i want one, but i think we have enough trek ones as it is.

it would be cool to make one up from scratch

Nothing. just completely made up races, that sort of thing.

I suggest a ship that is a secret project of our government that ends up getting technology from the Grey's that allow us not only to go faster than light, but have holodecks (of sorts), and inter-universal transport. I had plans for something similar, with lots of crossovers of other sci-fis and the like, but the actual ship and the universe it was built in was completely original (albeit a 'possible' future history)

How about we try Jerome's idea, but make it to where the crewmembers are from various different Sci-fi races. Example: Klingons, Wraiths, and Wookies working together.

Sure, no problem, Darkwing! Have fun with the idea and play around with it until you come to a conclusion as to how you want to go. The idea is actually based off my NSPA roleplay (National Space Protection Agency). Our multitude of crossovers included: Running into Species 8472 and the Xindi, joining forces with the United Nations in the Gundam Wing universe, visiting my Lost Ages universe, and even battling Heartless in the Kingdom Hearts universe! The possibilities are limitless!

well, i'm gonna take the concept, but take away the cross-over aspect, i have to go to work, but tomorrow, i'll post my idea

wait i got an idea what if it takes place in the year 2020 on earth and we play as human soldiers civilians when a ancient empire travels to the first foundations of the earth empire to kill us all and they sent in tripods robotic soldiers and borg/zombie guys to assimalate humans and we all control guys and stuff and oh the humans had 2 hidden ships that were modified with guns like in halo 3. And there are multiple time wholes that travel across the galaxy in differant time periods or universes so everyone can join in against each other.
