well, the joker's intense, i tell you that! the movie focuses mostly on Batman trying to co-exist with gotham city, despite the fact that gotham thinks batman is a criminal who should be arrested. Harvey Dent comes into the picture, looking like the one who's going to save Gotham, he manages to round up and have the entire mob of gotham city arrested, this makes him look like a hero, but the joker has plans, he wants to see everybody's dark side. initially, he wants to kill batman, but comes to enjoy tormenting him, giving the ultimatum, show us who batman really is, or people will die! this puts wayne in a difficult position because he wnats to give up being batman, to be with rachel, who has fallen in love with Harvey, anyways, Harvey admits in a press conference that he's batman, in an attempt to lure the joker out into the opening. then there's an amazing action sequence that must last half an hour, in which the tumbler is destoryed by an rpg. if you want more, give a hollar!

I think I'm gonna watch it these holidays...

i know, they are more trouble than they are worth.In every american film i have ever seen, it is always america that saves the day.They ar more likely to nuke the Earth and forget they live on it.And in all the alien invasion films america takes the least damage while countries like Greenland, the most unlikly target, take the most!in a real invasion it would be america to go out first because they claim they are a world superpower.
As well, as that, american films have cities like washington DC blow up and its meant to be sad, but they ar ignorant in thinking that everyone actually gives a fying sh*t about america.

First, the America represents the world, showing that, if the Americans can won, the rest of the world will probably won.
Second, the USA is not one world superpower, they are the world superpower!
