A Busy Day

Well, yesterday I went to work with my friend Joe to help him in his watermelon business. (I usually do this 1-2 days a week during watermelon season.) I got up at 6:00 A.M, went to the corner of Northwest Expressway and Piedmont Road, and sold watermelons until 8:00 P.M. Business was great! We sold almost all of our watermelons, and cantaloupe. We even had a competitor park right next to us, but we still completely blew him away in business. See, it wasn't just me helping him. My sister, Jo's dad, mom, and my little friend Jacob. (He's only 11 or 12. I can't remember.) Well, when the business day was over, we all went over to his grandmother's house to swim in her pool, and party. Razz

Then, after that was all done, I get a phone call from my mom, and she says that we're getting a dog. At first, I thought someone had dialed the wrong number, because I KNOW that my dad (step dad) hates dogs. After that, all that is going through my mind is, poop, pee, barking, walks, chew toys, and humping. LOL! Well, we ended up getting one. Boomer is actually sleeping on my foot right now. (That's what my dad decided to call him. It's not the best name, but it's not the worst. LOL, I wanted to call him slash, because he has a tiny slash on one of his eyes.) He's a black lab, only 6 weeks old. Well, I guess it will all work out.
