hi any of you seen the movie of war of the worlds read the book or listened to the musical plz rate it

by musical do you mean radio play by orson welles?

the radio play or the one by jeff waynes

i liked the movie.

oh, well i also like orson welles radio play. i am also fascinated at the psychology of it as people were actually commiting suicide and stuff thinking that the martians were coming, it seemed so real back then!

i have read the book, heard the radio play by welles, seen the george pal movie and the spielberg movie, but i haven't seen any of the tv series

it just goes for all in the topic as there are more than ten choices yea i seen a documentry about the play cant belive it mass panic across the whole city if it was real you would have seen them woudlnt you

just back in the thirties, the radio was the source for news, and because the play was set up like a news broadcast, everybody thought it was real. truly amazing, it's a pity something like that couldn't be done today, unfortunately, nobody would believe it.

Well, if you got a major broadcaster like the BBC doing it in the news people would.

but not for long. you'd have to have internet sites like yahoo and othe news sites laying along, the radio, television, it would have to be a massive undertaking if anybody would believe iit, because with the internet, nobody would believe it.

yea but it would be fun to try and get every news and media company to all try and give the same hoax woudnlt like to work for them as when the truth come's out they would all get murded

You mean a whole media blanket? It wouldn't happen-the media is too full of *******ers. Just like when Prince Harry (of Britain) went to fight in secret against the taliban, some American guy broke the story.

i don't know why they dont just send harry to do his duty to his mother like every other soldier no one really cares about the royal family

The movie was pretty good.

Wow. I just saw the movie on BBC. It was gripping.

The book and the movie were pretty awesome! I kinda liked the book better though. (In the book, the aliens decapitate some guy, and display his head to a crowd before killing all of them.)

yea i watched the movie aswell i seen it at the cinimea when it first come out i like it becouse it sticks to the book ok so its more actoin filled and its set in modern day america not 1800's england i like th part were he spits the grenade pins out his mouth the all look and they like holy sh*t.soz probally dont want to here me rant on about it

hey wait no one cannot like war of the worlds its just so good its survived over 100 years and people are still making movies about it so nobody can say they dont like it my sis is scared of it when they make that oolaa sound
