Hehe. I think Spock and McCoy entered Starfleet Academy at different times, but alas Star Trek hasn't been very good with continuity in the first place. Besides, I love the antics of McCoy as he disses Spock in every episode XD

Star Trek 11 is taking place during Spock, Kirk, and McCoy's Academy days. I think Spock went to the Academy earlier than McCoy or Kirk, because Spock was aboard when Pike was in command, and the Enterprise wasn't a training ship (to my knowledge)
