To Do List - Need Help!

So, it would greatly help me complete this game on time if people could help with certain things, namely, sprites

i need roughly 60 ships from the tos era. they can be made up ships and real ones.
races: federation
gorn
klingon
romulan
vexxian

also, make them look like they're from the mirror universe.

For the romulan ships, you have the sprites on RomWars.

and the website is down. i really don't want to use the romwars ones, they're such low quality.

try to erase the things after .htm.

And relative to quality, can't you just, make it better? Make some retouches?

EDIT: OH! and tip about your already made sprites: Reduce it's size, they are too big for TOS era ships.

I only have paint to help with so it would be very bad quality and 1D, but if you need something less graphically demanding, then ask.

They well say that Gorn technology is made to moving with a bit of "technoviolence", as this is more seamed with a Colonial Viper, than a Gorn Warship.

The Longbow looks like the "galaxy" in BM3 and the "sovvie" looks like a modified Longbow.

I haven't gotten around to adding the TOS and ENT era ships into my mod just yet (they are probably going to be an unplayable race, but since they are starfleet it really wouldn't matter much). But I know a bunch of sites to look. Ex Astris Scientia (careful, a lot of their sprites are difficult to get out of the multi-colored background) actually has a Links section so you can look at a lot of 2d and 3d Star Trek art sites with ship sprites (mainly all fanon, though if you're looking for canon look under the category 'Starships').

The guy who runs Ex Astris Scientia also has some awesome starship designs you might be able to use. Check the EAS Fleetyards from the main page. From all kinds of eras, he's got his own fanon ships. Might want to ask his permission first, but I doubt he'd mind as long as you're not taking up his bandwidth by copy-pasting his pictures onto your site. And don't even try to claim them as your own!

And why do they need to be made into mirror universe ships? I thought BM3 was taking place in the original universe, and the futuristic Terran Empire ships were going to be damaged after just narrowly escaping from the war. >>;

Well, I'm not sure how you'd touch up 23rd century ships to look mirror universe -like, cause as we see in TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror" the ship generally looks the same except for a few side details and a lot of stats (I suspect weapons and such would be more powerful in the mirror universe than in the original universe)

For the first one, you might want to change the U in USS to I. You may also want to resize it (of course XD)

The second one isn't TOS style, but is like the style of the Enterprise refit in the Motion Picture. I would think this to be the refit of the Enterprise in the mirror universe if they ever got that far. It looks much more awesome and armor-complete, plus I wonder about it's weapon power...

While you talk about ship sprites, i actually tried to make a gorn one... I only read the first post of this topic when I started making it, and I didn't notice that jpb18 had tried to make the ship I was already making...
I started making it from this schematic:


This one is easier to work with, as JPB's is colored with grey...

I have Star Trek Tactical Assault, for PSP, and so, I had seen some gorn ships... I went to Bethesda Softworks' website and got the pictures...



I would later use the colors to paint the schematic...

The lightning isn't very good, nor is the sprite itself... I know it's pretty useless for you, Darkwing, but i'm no Vex spriting...

I tried again, but with photoshop instead of Paint Shop Pro and following TThomaso's Broken Mirror-like spriting, and this is the result:



I think it's much better, yet, I don't know if it's acceptable...

Yet, the Gorn ships are green! What do you want me to do? Paint them orange?

Besides, It's a different tone of green than the Klingon and Romulan Empires...


In the meanwhiles, I made another ship, this time not Gorn... It's federation/terran empire, but I don't know if it's enough Mirror Universe for Darkwing....

I grabbed this schematic:


and made the outline in Flash, as it's vectorial capabilities are better than both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop... I didn't make the outline of the bird (I'm not insane). I went to Paint Shop Pro and successfully extracted the bird...

Then I combined the colored schematic with the bird, and followed the easy steps of the Spriting tutorial I mentioned before...

And now, here it is, a romulan TOS cruiser:

that's cool! the defiant i was talking about looked like the enterprise ncc-1701, but that's really cool! that kind of shows how the universes are a little ahead of themselves, and how the technology was at its peak, that's really cool!

This time, I tried two different processes:

Burke class - This time, I didn't remake the outline. I used the original schematic's. It didn't turn out very good...




NX Class refitted for the TOS era - This time, I found a colored schematic that seemed pretty good, so, the only thing I did was the 3d lightning effects...
