sorry to waste a post on a stupid question but I was wandering what the google and yahoo bots are on this website for? what do they do?

Basically they search out info on the forum and look at what searches we make -I think.

ehm... half true. they index the forums, so when you search for, say, "broken mirror 3 ship thoughts" they will direct you to tis forum.

ye all they do is when you do a google or yahoo or msn search for somthing like say flashtrek it will biring you to this forum or other forums
