Look what I came across

So I decided to look at some of the first threads I posted in (2008) and came across, among other things, a link to an old VX forum abandoned in like 2006. It seems that after the VX site died, some of the people from there made a few posts on that forum, and one of them linked to a site with Flash Trek games on them. This includes 2 games I haven't seen in YEARS: DW's old BM3 game and JPB's BM4. I had no idea that those games were still out there somewhere...

HS guys. Opened up that game again. Man the music. The memories. Is that music out there someplace? Or just the sound samples?

Both. Maybe we should remake the entire thing in 2D without flash? I mean don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a 3D version like the BM DW and JP are making, but 2D is easier to work with.

HTML5trek isn't a thing yet but I think it can be. If I can get a copy of the source I can convert it to html5

I have the original BM source laying around on my hard drive. I think that the entire engine would need to be reworked in the long run. That seems to be more important than just re-skinning the game as we've done.

When this gets finished I think it will hit my BM craving. I mean, look how similar it is! And... it's not ST, so there won't be copyright issues. Unless we get to mod and reskin the game... It's not like we're in this for the money.

Imagine if we regrouped and focused our weaponized ST fandom autism at that?

Wow! That game looks great. I'll have to check it out. I wish I had time for something like working on Web trek or another game. I loved BM so much (but somehow never had the ST fandom thing like everyone else).

Alas, my real job takes up most of my time and I try not to work too hard during the rest.
