Scrolling Down Empty Scrolling Down

Basically a question of lethargy, when you check the forum, do you guys consistently scroll all the way down to see if there are new posts in all the boards, or do you just stick with the primary ones at the top and don't even bother going down? I ask this because if I were to add more boards, I am curious to know if people would check them/participate in them.

I usually look at the portal's recent posts. Either that or 'posts since last visit.'

The first page I access is the 'posts since last visit'. Unless I want to post something of my own, I don't visit the index page.

Interesting, I very rarely use that function, I've always been one to browse the index. The ultimate point of this is that people will check new posts no matter what section they're from

Try to force the page "post since last visit page" into the index or the portal... Might work.

Generally just look at the recent posts scrolling thingy in the portal unless I'm looking for a specific topic then it's the index
