Ship's Log: The Beginning

...I
have barely escaped. It came at an expense of which I'm still not sure
was worth it, I have to tell myself that it was, that I can save
millions, trillions, maybe more. My reality is gone, my crew is gone.
Mallor, Terra, all of them gone. I have no idea why they're doing it,
why they are tearing apart the universe. The only reason I was able to
escape was because of the ability I and this ship has to transcend
dimensions and realities. That universe is gone, the Solari must be
stopped! But first, I'll need a crew, it is unlikely any of our
duplicates exist in this universe, but I don't know for sure, I have no
idea the extent of damage to which the Solari have caused, all I know,
is that soon, all realities, all universes will be completely destroyed!

After
the narrow escape from the Solari, I managed to bring the Darkwing to
an outpost. The life support was damaged, but I managed to last long
enough to reach the desolate station. Once there, the station proved to
have several surprised, including some illegal experiments by a Vulcan
cross-breed by the name of Surak. He was unfortunately foolish enough
to be playing with inter-dimensional creations and experimenting with
Omega particles.
Due to these experiments, it caused us to have to
escape to the Darkwing. I have been reunited with a former crew member
of the Darkwing, whom I thought had died in a transporter accident.
Johnson and I managed to replace the Darkwing's life support unit and
transported everyone from the station aboard. I attempted to contain
the blast emitted by the Omega, however that was only partially
successful, we were still required to jump to warp after picking up a
hitch-hiker.
Due to the Omega interference and some damage the
anti-matter cooling unit sustained, we had to do a manual drop out from
warp 7. This unfortunately has caused multiple injuries, the most
prominent is from our hitch-hiker who seems to have managed to have his
entire side collapsed. Surak, the EMH and myself are currently working
on the patients. They may not know it yet, but due to their knowledge
of the Darwking, they have just become a member of its crew as it is too
unsafe to let them go on their own.

The
new passenger's seem more trouble than they're worth, Jonothan Rose in
particular. Though the most injured, he has prematurely left medical
and led Johnson and I through a chase though the ship, ultimately
leading to engineering. Despite having engineering locked to only
Johnson's and my authorization, he managed to enter engineering. We
cornered him as he was doing something at a console. As to what, I am
currently uncertain.

I have taken him to the brig, but the ship
has mysteriously dropped out of work. My instincts are telling me it's
sabotage. As to whether it's Rose's doing, I doubt it, though he may
have inadvertently set something off, this ship is so beyond any of them
here, yet they go around, so self-confident and bold in their actions,
making massive mistakes along the way that could lead to disastrous
results. They have no idea the stakes nor what they are dealing with.

Fortunately,
not too many others were injured, Skeeve is in some form of withdrawal
and Temple has had some scarring to his face from plasma burns. Both
will be fine and thankfully they have been keeping to themselves for the
time being. Of course we still have the staff from the station on
board, nobody has been assigned quarters or anything, this ship is in
desperate need of a competent crew, but I'll make due with what I have.

For now, I have to resolve this issue between Rose and myself, before one of us pulls the trigger and kills the other.

Whatever
petty differences that I have with my new passengers will have to wait.
The ship has been sabotaged, or at least so I think. Someone has
managed to take control of the ship using command codes from a crew that
doesn't exist, overriding even my codes to the ship.
Having been
trapped on the bridge by our unknown captor and at the near loss of
Johnson, we have managed to blast our way out of the security sealed
doors by overloading the disruptors on the bridge. However our captor
seems to not be finished with us yet, as they have dropped us out of
warp, leaving us on the edges of reality. The only thing we can do is
wait...and hope that we survive this!
