Breanna is long and lean, giving the impression that she's taller than she is, so it's a small shock when people realize that she's as small as she is. She has a rather round face that's monopolized by her eyes. She has various scars, due more to her propensity for clumsiness than any other reason.

Biography:

Breanna is, for the most part, a bright, cheerful hardworker. If she doesn't know how to do something, she's willing to learn. She doesn't view any task as beneath her, and isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and apply some elbow grease. Breanna can be very mischievous, and enjoys playing practical jokes if she's with people that would take it well and retaliate in spirit. She can be dramatic, and enjoys telling stories. Breanna has a wide smile and an infectious laugh. She's very free-spirited, and does what she feels like, rather than trying to make a "plan". If she'd been born in another era, she would have been labeled a hippy. She adapts to the people around her, and tries to be what they want her to be.

Breanna was the youngest of three children, and the only girl to boot. One would think that in that situation, she'd be the apple of her parents' eyes, spoiled rotten, and get anything her heart desired. If one thought that, one would be wrong. Her family was dysfunctional. Her parents were transport pilots, and took turns being gone. Her oldest brother, Brennan, tried to earn their parents approval, did everything right, brought home straight A's, joined Honor Society, brushed his teeth every day and was so sickeningly perfect that if he was any less gosh darn likable it would make one want to yarf. Brendan joined Starfleet on his 18th birthday, and left home. Breanna turned 10 a few months later. Barrett, who was four years older, was just starting to rebel. Breanna worked hard to fly under the radar in her family, and truth be told, it wasn't that hard with Barrett as an older brother. She worked hard to bring home B's instead of A's, even going so far as to purposefully choose a wrong answer or three on a test, just to ensure her good-but-not-great grade. She followed various people around and learned the basics of people's jobs and how to do it. Barrett slipped in with a bad crowd and left the planet when he was sixteen. Breanna had every intention of following Brendan's example instead of Barrett's, at least so far as staying home until she turned 18, but she simply didn't last long being the only child in the house. Her parents would ask what she wanted to do, and she'd say something like "Doctor! I want to help people!" and they'd try to break it to her gently that they weren't sure she was smart enough to be a doctor. Or she'd say she wanted to join Starfleet, and they'd say they weren't sure if she had the disposition for the rigidity for Starfleet. Or she'd say she wanted to be a teacher, and they'd make a comment about how little teachers make. No matter what she did, it just didn't seem to be right. There wasn't any big thing that made her leave home. It was just a lot of little things that piled up and piled up, until she felt like she was being crushed under their lack of faith in her.

So she left. She didn't plan it. She was hanging out with some friends when she was seventeen, and someone asked her if she knew how to cook and if she were willing to go into space for six months and cooked. Breanna said yes, hopped on the ship and sent a message to her parents letting them know not to expect her for dinner... ever. The next ship, they needed an engineer, and she asked if they'd be willing to put up with her as she learned. The next ship, she was a gunner. Sometimes she's with Starfleet, sometimes she's with business ships, sometimes she's with privately owned ships. Breanna cheerfully calls herself a Jill of all trades and a master of none.

She was on one of the private ships, working as a nanny, when the end of the universe came. She watched in horror as a planet was destroyed and the universe began to burn around her. The ship was in the Solari's path, and was dragged with it. In the process, the ship was severely damaged, the occupants tossed around like dolls, and Breanna was knocked unconscious when her head hit the wall harder than human heads are intended to hit hard objects. When she awoke, only she and the two children she was in charge of were still alive. She did her best to take care of the kids, but unfortunately, the injuries they'd sustained were too severe, and she wasn't a doctor.

The ship drifted, and Breanna knew that the chances of her being found and rescued were slim to none. But Breanna didn't have it in her to simply give up. She's managed to keep the ship limping along- at least enough that life support remained when gravity left.
