First up an apology on the tardiness of this week's update. It has become TSTuesday on Thursday, however I don't think anyone should mind too much! Again this week we have some exciting news as our Trafficshare system continually grows. We would like to welcome two new sites to the exchange this week and we of course hope you check them out and become part of their communities!
Of course we'd like to remind everyone to have their updates in to either Kati or Darkwing by no later then Monday of each week. Remember, if you miss three in a row, or are consistently missing them, your site will be removed from the Trafficshare system, so keep those updates coming!

This week we'd like to introduce to you Stormtrooper Lounge and Moulding Minefield! They are the newest additions to the Trafficshare system and they both look like exciting sites to become a part of!

Section 31 Roleplay

Section 31 Roleplay is primarily a RPG-X Based Group, onto which we
roleplay on our 2 servers. We are a group of people aiming to create a
welcoming environment, onto which our officers can relax and enjoy their
time. We do not wish to burden anyone with lots of responsibilities, or
make them feel like they are not wanted, as everyone in our community
is!
Battlestar Valfreyja

Flash Trek: The Unofficial Forum

FT:TUF is a general site for sci-fi fans and a home away from home for many. Starting out as a basis for the Broken Mirror 3 flash game, FT:TUF has since expanded to become much more than just a sci-fi forum!

Our new RP Unity of Light is now officially open. The story has begun with the slaughtering of a well armed fortress in the middle of the night by a single man. As morning approached, our main characters happened upon an Inn in an abandoned town. Having never before met, they are suddenly thrown into helping a wounded soldier who has stumbled into the Inn.

The Gathering

The Gathering is a haven for sci-fi fans alike. Not limited to one universe, the Gathering encourages everyone to join together to partake in its RPs and general discussion and sometimes even projects! It's not just Star Trek or Star Wars, this is our own world!

The small issue with our background was restored, thankfully, as we plan on further revising the structure of the site more, for a better, hopefully organized forum, offering plenty of room for additional Roleplay forums and other important sections that may be needed in the future. Hopefully I’ll find some cool logos for some of my sections to make it more aesthetically appealing for you all.

While there remains nothing new for our general content (that I would like to announce officially anyway), our Avalon RP has continued to grow in size since we started Traffic Share. With mechs and Arms Forts, essentially large, mobile weapons platforms finally out of the way (aside from customizable armaments for the mechs); I plan on adding additional units to the existing ones and additional machines of war for our players to enjoy, as well as finishing the ones that have yet to earn their descriptions. Below are some images of the units I shall be adding. With that, I conclude this little update as I have nothing more to say. (I am always accepting advice, suggestions, and will answer almost any and all questions.

Stormtrooper Lounge
Stormtrooper Lounge was created as a hangout for friends and like-minded people. Focusing mainly on Star Wars, Stormtrooper Lounge has a good mix of both Star Wars and general discussions, as well as some RPs and will be focusing primarily on the MMORP "The Old Republic. Stormtrooper Lounge will be a heavily RP based Republic guild and everyone is welcome to join!

The big news this week is that we are, finally, officially live! The site is very new, and while it was never inaccessible, we didn't begin an advertising campaign for members until this week. Previously we'd been focussing on getting things in place and ready to go; this week (and for the foreseeable future) the focus is on building the community; that means more members, more and better content, and ironing out any bugs in the system. We welcome anyone at all; whether they like Star Wars or not. It's true that the site is Star Wars themed, but we also offer some robust general discussion, and are looking into starting some traditional dice-based play-by-post RPGs. These would include Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and the Star Wars D20 RPG initially, though others are more than welcome if there is interest.

Our twitter feed will be going live this week, we're hoping to tweak our Facebook page and get interest that way. We've also finally gotten the configuration set on our IRC channel (#stormtrooperlounge on irc.coldfront.net) and we've had some lively conversation on there the last couple nights!

We're looking at a possible tie-in with Bootleg Radio (http://www.bootlegradiostation.com). This is an online radio show presented by Brehon/Narvakhan (depending on the site), a mutual friend of myself and Jorost (the co-founder of StormtrooperLounge.com). Jorost is actually a frequent guest on Bootleg Radio, and every Saturady night is Star Wars night on Bootleg Radio. So we're encouraging our membership to check it out. Narvarkhan has also been an active participant in discussions on our site, so that's pretty awesome.

I think that sums it up for this week (and will probably be the most exciting info for a while). We're always looking for suggestions or advice on how to improve the site, and encourage anyone and everyone to check it out and help make it a better place.


Moulding Minefield
Moulding Minefield is a forum for those stepping into the world of art and animation. Moulding Minefield is a place where people can upload their content and get constructive criticism, ideas, opinions and more! Of course it's not just limited to traditional art or animation, all creative forms are welcome, including music, photographs etc!


Blue Planet General Update
Blue Planet itself hasn't experienced much along the lines of updates. The RPs continue as plots unfold, our heroes threatened and secrets revealed. For the most part, our technical issues seem to be at a minimum, with only the PM issue still running. If you're experiencing this, the best way to circumvent it is to hit reply or scroll down to the PM history to read the PM there.

Creative Suite
The obvious selection this week is definitely one of my favourite pieces of art thus far. Julie has once again outdone herself by drawing up the character of Sam Welles, the newest villain in the Christian Crusade RP!

Musical Inspiration
If you've checked out some of our general sections at Blue Planet, you would have noticed a writing corner, comprised of various exercises and tidbits to help encourage and improve your writing skills! This week we'd like to feature a nifty writing exercise entitled "Musical Inspiration. The goal is for the writer to listen to the music and then write, based on their inspirations from the music! It's an excellent challenge and definitely one worth checking out!

As mentioned last week, Stargate Atlantis is now in full swing, with the Wraith close at hand, our characters scurry about, readying the base for the inevitable attack. Of course we are always looking for new RP ideas or need help in making new RPs grow and the best way to do that is to log on and check out the suggestions section.

Darkwing Continuum

The pillars of the universe are about to fall and the only thing that
stands in the way of space being destroyed, is the crew of the
Darkwing...

In Darkwing: Continuum news this week, the game has currently been closed indefinitely until activity and interest resumes. The general sections are still open should you have questions or need to discuss something, however the RP side of the game will be closed until it appears that people are once again willing to post.


Solar Exodus

Annals of Lystra

manage to survive disease and rogue Warriors.

The Christian Crusade

Join Jake McCormick and the Crusade, Christians against the evils of
this Universe. Demonic forces are attacking all around - it is the
Redemption's job to lead the physical war. But they also understand a
much deeper purpose and strength than your average futuristic battle for
life.


Star Wars: Rebellion
People are chafing under Imperial Rule, and war is on the horizon. Maybe
you're a Jedi in hiding. Maybe you're a simple farmer, who decided to
join the fight. Maybe you're a diplomat, working the Rebellion
underground. You get to choose!
