Well that was smart buying 4 cans of relentless now i can't sleep infact i can't even stay still or think slowly.

It could be one of those alcoholic energy drinks. Those things actually got banned here because they turned lee into this.

Ok I'm better now it's not alcoholic but it does have 160mg of caffeine per can or is it per 100 ml I'm not sure but yea drinking a box of it is apparently enough to overdose on caffine

First off, its near impossible to overdose on just caffeine. It takes between 150 to 200mg per kg to reach the median lethal dose. For me that would mean i have to drink more than 100 of these energy drinks that have 100mg in them AND i would have to do it without urinating (well you could, but you would have to drink a few, urinate in 45 min, drink a few more, repeat) (to avoid loss of un-absorbed caffeine)and before the caffeine begins deteriorating in the blood (half life of 5 hours, unless you are pregnant or have liver disease). I would be much more likely to die of drowning in the liquid, urine poisoning, etc... before caffeine over dose. And by using caffeine alone it is rare to see someone have a heart attack. Caffeine doesn't actually increase the heart rate all that much. What will kill you is the potassium, Guarana, Taurine, sugars, B-Vitemins, and such combine with the pure caffeine that will make your heart explode and kill you.

A couple years back there were two people at our school (morons too, I never liked them) who decided it would be a great idea to drink a lot of energy drinks on lunch break. Needless to say an ambulance was called when someone found them both passed out in the soccer field

Actually caffeine is a psycoactive stimulant, large amounts can cause a multitude of problems it only takes about 300mg to start having side effects other than the main use for it, plus i'd had over 500% of my daily sugar so them combined made me very very hyper yesterday and it was fun, still by the time i decided to go to sleep it had already been dark and was light again

I did not say that pure caffeine at even such a low amount as 300mg had no negative side effects (of course it does), and you can die with less than the LD50 i mentions. The LD50 is just the median amount of caffeine it takes to kill a person. (and im talking PURE caffeine, not energy drinks)
