Yes, I may have watched a good chunk of the Met Opera perform Die Walkure a few weeks ago when it aired live at the theatre. It was highly impressive and TBH, I was kinda tempted to watch the whole thing, though I was working at the time...

It's a pity his works have been tainted by his own legacy of anti-semitic nationalism. He introduced a number of revolutionary techniques in his operas. Personally, I see his plotlines as absolute codswallop, but most opera plotlines are a bit weak.

Definitely Sleeping Beauty. In German it's Schneewittchen, which is a classic fable.

Well, I guess it's more like the end is Sleeping Beauty because at the end, the woman is punished by the person she cheated and is put in an eternal sleep unless the man who truly loves her comes and kisses her
