Re: Super bowl 45
I feel that Aaron Rodgers has been the second best quarterback in the league this year, behind only Tom Brady. The Steelers defense (best in the league) has to be able to keep pressure on him and blitz him to limit the damage he can do. Same thing with the Packers. Make use of Clay Matthews and get on Big Ben as much as you can. Roethlisberger has trouble getting the ball out of his hands in a timely fashion so forcing rushed passes, fumbles, and sacks is gonna be pretty common. I dunno, this is gonna be a really good game. Ultimately though, I think the Steelers are gonna come out on top.

Re: Super bowl 45
Lol. The Lions beat the packers. That means im rooting for the steelers. (seriously, the lions beat a team that is in the super bowl! i know they knocked out rodgers in that game but WTF!? lol)
however, if i had to bet money on the game, id bet on the packers.

I work from 2-9 during Super Bowl Sunday. And it may or may not be one of the last days I work at Wally (fingers crossed that it is).

I heard wal mart is a bad company to work for, also it's time to hit the town with some CV's today then comeback and prepare for a night of highquality entertainment and join in with the rest of the world.

Re: Super bowl 45
Well, lets see, you do your job the best you can, the managers yell at you for not doing it good enough, they have some of the stupidest rules (for example, you cant drive carts into the bay with the cart machine since theres a chance one can hit the person greeter [and you have the same chance of hitting them pushing them by hand!]), and to make it even worse, my mom and my ex-girlfriend's mom work there too. Then theres also the stress of people driving around the lot. Sometimes when Im in the middle of cleaning up a few strays in an aisle, someone will pull up and want to park where I place the cart machine, therefore rushing me. Theres also the risk of, when youre driving the cart machine through a drive-through cart corral, not being able to turn the carts and the cart machine far enough so you may hit a car (and more often than not said car is probably going in reverse). And there are also times where I get tired and just want to go on my break or go to lunch and then, "CARTPUSHER!" Im supposed to carry out something which takes about ten minutes or more (its usually a large TV ranging from 42-60 inches). Add to that, there are people, mostly employees, that talk your ear off (some people I can stand, yes, but many I just want them to shut up and leave me alone and let me do my job), and thats pretty much a full day. Boy, I complain a lot dont I? But yea, its pretty stressful working at such a big place like Wal-Mart. Thats why Im trying to find a new job.

The glow suits I think were wireless DMX controlled so they would not be that easy to operate by yourself.
The whole thing apart form the lights really sucked

I think they have one of the highest turnover rates, if not, the highest.Destral wrote:Well, lets see, you do your job the best you can, the managers yell at you for not doing it good enough, they have some of the stupidest rules (for example, you cant drive carts into the bay with the cart machine since theres a chance one can hit the person greeter [and you have the same chance of hitting them pushing them by hand!]), and to make it even worse, my mom and my ex-girlfriend's mom work there too. I liked the Doritos commercials, and the one with the Darth Vader kid the best. At least, those are the ones I remember.Galaxy-Scarface wrote:the old geezers one made me lol. and the one with eminem was really good for Detroit IMO
As for Detroit, good commercial. Detroit is dead, and it's going to take a few decades to "fix" it. "Fix", meaning get it back to it's ghettoness level before the recession. Which is still pretty ghetto.
Well, the Steelers lost. My family is still mourning... (mommy's side of the family is all from Penn)
Was a pretty exciting game though.
Re: Super bowl 45
You might wanna be careful DJ, studies show that the losing team's fans have a much higher heart attack and suicide rate.

I could really care less actually. I just watched it mainly for the commercials.
Don't get me wrong, I got into the game, but you couldn't really call me a Steelers fan. I prefer to watch college football.

Re: Super bowl 45
I personally think they've started buying players. I mean, since when did superstars want to go to Michigan?
Don't get me wrong, I think most teams buy players, it's just that I think it's a new trick for Michigan.

Re: Super bowl 45
UD actually had a pretty damn good year last year.
And then they made it to the championships and they crapped the bed. That was a big disappointment.

Re: Super bowl 45
OU's losses were even more devastating. Heck, for a little while there we were #1 in the country, and then we lost...
Our quarterback just isn't quite Sam Bradford. LOL And of course there were other contributing factors.

Re: Super bowl 45
Well, I finally watched the game. It says a lot about how popular American Football is over here that I had no clue who had won for four days.
From an outsider's view, it looked like the throwing reliability was the deciding factor. I am suprised how open the game was.
I'm glad I could skip the adverts and the singing - my word it was awful. They should only do bands who can perform live, same for Christina Aguilera, all I heard was guttural sounds.

Honestly, the deciding factor was the play that Clay Matthew (what a beautiful man) made that forced a fumble. It was really embarrassing. It killed all the momentum the Steelers had up to that point and they didn't threaten again.
But yeah, Aaron Rodgers was really good.
