This sucker is scheduled to launch from earth sometime in 2014.

It's design and construction is a collaboration between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

Now just mount a gigantic laser on that, and you have a sniper star destroyer!

New planets? I'm excited about seeing the galaxies of gazillions of years ago form. Now that's cool.

Oh, and this is really going to be something to watch. If that thing breaks, it's not like they can just fly up there for repairs. It's going to be way too far away for that.

it was named after James Webber who was important to NASA for some reason that I can not remember.
