Advantageous Glitches!
((This was on Admiral Vorta's old forum, and I noticed that since he's merging them, I would post some of my old threads up here for fun and scrutiny! Enjoy! ))
Here list all bugs in the game that can be used to your advantage!
One of the first I discovered was that after building a space station, sometimes it will come up with something it normally wouldn't build (such as the defense platform building a Cardassian Keldon class!). Just build it in a system like Konael or Gorn if YOU own the planet. It won't work on planets captured for other governments!
Secondly is one I have yet to find but I've heard of it and Vex has confirmed this bug actually exists! After conquering enough planets for a government, if one of them happens to build a wormhole generator it may take you to a 'graveyard' planet. When your fleet is destroyed, your ships go there and you can actually go in and bring them back from the dead! An 'undead fleet'! I hope to discover this myself and get some screenshots!
Also, the 'vegas bug' (where an item in a buy slot is flashing different symbols) simply blows my ship up when I click on it. But according to AlkaNova and Sovereign, it does different things, like give the 'Sentient Lifeform' ship and give you the Borg Flag. I dunno, test it out and see what it does.
I found the 'graveyard' planet on Broken Mirror 2! It CAN be found in BM1 according to some but I've got to work on it...
The graveyard planet appears whenever you capture a bunch of planets for a single government (like the Cardassian Union) and then warp around a bit until it says 'A wormhole generator has finished building to the error system.' Then you just warp to the place it was built at and go inside. Tadaa! All your ships are back from the dead!
See? Look closely at the stats there at the bottom. I CURRENTLY own 23 ships, but look at the map in the bottom right. WAY more than 23... In fact, I counted 51! All of them were ships I built for my fleet originally and then sold. Some (including my Danube Runabouts I built for my fleet REALLY early in the game) were destroyed and now... They're back!
Hope I can find the same 'graveyard planet' in BM1!
((And I'm still looking for it XD))

Haha, it was fun finding some of these glitches, particularly the undead world. It's like all the ships in your fleet that were destroyed... Back to life. And you get an undead army! XD

Re: Advantageous Glitches!
I wonder what it would be like if the Alpha Quadrant had to fight an undead race from the Beta Quadrant?

Re: Advantageous Glitches!
YUP IT IS CONFIRMED,
ERROR PLANET EXISTS!
SO DO THE UNDEAD FLEET!
LOL...
anyways DONT GET PLANET ERROR, WHY YOU ASK?
BECAUSE WHEN YOU CONQUER IT, IT WILL GIVE YOU LATINUM NaN litteraly, in other words it will give you NaN latinum which also means 0!!!!!
so you camt buy anything out of your empire!
P.S this is BM1.

Re: Advantageous Glitches!
It's easy to get unlimited latinum: I think if you buy the flashing things from Vegas bug stations you have unlimited money; but I could be getting it mistaken with another game.

Re: Advantageous Glitches!
well, when it says NAN latinum, it is both helpfull and annoying.you can buy anything in the game, due to infinite money, but cannot buy any ships, as they will leave due to you not being able to pay maintainence.
