an annoying photoshop problem
okay, so when i bought my graphics tablet, it came with ink squared deluxe and photoshop elements 7, ink squared worked perfectly, and so photoshop, for a while... it worked fine at first but i noticed a few weeks ago the all the colors that were picked end up being lighter versions, so black is grey, red is pink etc etc i did look around online for a solution and some poeple said make sure its on RBG, which i tried but didnt help, others said that the color pallete picker is screwed and shouldn't be used, since i couldnt find a solution ive only been using manga studio ever since and forgot about Photoshop, but then i saw Vedic and DW working with all this stuff so i was wondering if you guys have any idea how i can fix my problem

Re: an annoying photoshop problem
I've only used CS3-4 never Elements so i might be help i might not, but if it comes out lighter, try using a darker color, or learn how to use Gimp (ignore DW if he rants on how bad it is, I'm on 3 year veteran of the program)

Like vedic i've only used cs3/4 but have you made sure your screen brightness has changed or the brightness for that program hasn't screwed up? as you may have your colour pallet set on light rather than normal

Re: an annoying photoshop problem
Looks like the drawing type (watercolours, pen, pencil, brush) needs to be changed as they affect the brightness and yes vedic he's using a tablet

Re: an annoying photoshop problem
Well Tablets tend to have a Pressure system, if you press down hard enough with the pen tip, then it will show 100% color, but the lighter you press down, well the lighter it will be.
Might be your problem, cause the same things happen with me.

Re: an annoying photoshop problem
Have you tried using the mouse to draw a line? This will determine if its a tablet problem or software problem

It's gotta be CS5, cause that looks like the CS5 style (which I quite like)
